Awesome run. Just bought one for my son. Now I want one. Your video puts my mind at ease about the purchase. Definitely getting those tires and wheels.
Mine showed up today and I am pretty impressed with it. I did not have time to go out and run it before the sun went down but the on the bench test it is really nice. I did get a set of the Injora brass bead locks for it as well! The tires I got though might be a little too big for it though, I may have to grab a smaller set! I think they have a winner on their hands with this one! Yours was doing great out there!
I bought mine for the sale price of 99$. Took a couple months to get it and have just been running it right out the box. Not sure if you run them for a while before you upgrade them like I do… Just adjust the shocks the trimmed the body fenders over the weekend so now it’s time haha. Just ordered the same wheels but in silver and the 64 mm swamp claws. It’s already one of my favorites so can’t wait to see what it does with some brass on her 😊
I think injora has come a LONG way in the last few years. Quality I find, is much better. Well the whells didn't look much bigger together but after , On the truck I thought they looked HUGE. lol But no issues with clearance and they crawl along nicely. As you said. We expected them to do good though ;) Its a great little truck Thumbs up brother
Oooooeeee that thing stays planted down now. What a deadly lil rig man! Thats like an extra 180g with those wheels. Ive got those ones on my Glad and with my tire lead weight mod Ive got em to 86g a piece :)
Great run. Awesome little crawler, have one to be delivered tomorrow. Brent, curious, do you get a lot of rubbing with the 64mm tires? I've seen some folks say to run 58mm, others 62mm. I think stock is 60mm. Cheers
Completely reasonable question yes it does but it's give and take with crawler builds gain axle clearance lose some cg add weight get cg back but stress drive train lol it goes on and on
@@AdventureTimeRC makes sense. i'm thinking of buying a RedCat Fusion. I used to competitively race 1/10 scale on-road and im looking for something a bit more mellow and relaxing. I think ill take the plunge. It seems there's a lot that goes into these crawlers that can affect the way it performs. how important is a good radio in Rock Crawling? In on-road 1/10 scale there is no way you could use a RTR radio. Cool channel
Was he brass wheels & tires the only mod you did? That was one of the best crawls I’ve seen of the Ascent 18. That looks like a great crawling place too.
It is definitely the best budget crawler available.
I agree fully
Awesome run. Just bought one for my son. Now I want one. Your video puts my mind at ease about the purchase. Definitely getting those tires and wheels.
My favorite wheel tire combo. I have them on a couple rigs. Those tires are so good.
They really are good I have a few sets myself
Nice upgrade saw this rig on sale i am so tempted... Great run Brent..
Thank you brother
These things r sooo smooth running got mini Saturday just got a chance 2 open 😊
Such a great truck thank you for watching
I have 2 and I love them. Fms makes a good mini crawler in the 1/24 power wagon
They do I have 3 fcx24 s myself really fun little trucks
How’s the drive train slop on the 24th? I have the LC80 (1/18 scale) and the drive train play is pretty much unbearable

It's such a nice truck I think other brands will need to rethink their platforms
Are they just a set of wheels for a scx24? Or what wheel did you order, don’t see a wheel specifically for the redcat’s
Very nice starting to really dig these 18th scale rims look absolutely awesome performed exceptionally well out there 👊
Thank you Mark they are nice wheels
if I wouldn't of known this was not the Big RC Ascent, I would of thought it was! This thing really impresses me!
Thank you Rob it is such a great truck

Thank you Tyler appreciate it brother hope your doing well
Awesome video excellent upgrades definitely seems to be a capable rig
Nice! Little weight helped.
Thank you very much Philip
Nice, Injora doing wheel and tyres in a pack. They do look good and weight in the place I like. Does it really need more upgrades ?
Thank you Malcom I really don't think it does anything else I do will just be for the fun of it pretty solid truck without mods
get the INJORA Stainless Steel Steering Links and High Clearance Links the plastics snap easy
Oooooeeee that thing stays planted down now. What a deadly lil rig man! Thats like an extra 180g with those wheels. Ive got those ones on my Glad and with my tire lead weight mod Ive got em to 86g a piece :)
Thank you Durp I have several sets ro injora makes great stuff
Doesn’t adding weight burn out the motor ?
Looks awesome now Brent! I'm a big fan of those Injora tires too, I should have got those cool wheels though!
Thank Mike I have several sets really like them
Good tires and very nice video friend 👍💪😜👋
Thank you very much my friend
O yea nice crawling did really good 👍
Thank you very much
Awesome, thumb up!!!
Thank you very much
I'll be ordering these along with the stainless drive shafts. I don't think the stock shafts are quite up to the task.
Im definitely gonna copy yours i got the same color 😂
Very nice Brent ❤😊
Thank you Shawn
Did you have to vent the tires, or do the rims have this built in?
If you want them vented you will need to vent them I am running them sealed working good
Hi ! What size of your hex you use gor your tire and wheels?
Great run. Awesome little crawler, have one to be delivered tomorrow. Brent, curious, do you get a lot of rubbing with the 64mm tires? I've seen some folks say to run 58mm, others 62mm. I think stock is 60mm. Cheers
Dumb Question. aren't you raising the cg with taller tires?
Completely reasonable question yes it does but it's give and take with crawler builds gain axle clearance lose some cg add weight get cg back but stress drive train lol it goes on and on

Thank you just wheels and tires I did put aluminum diff covers on but they don't add any weight so don't count it as a upgrade
👍👍😎😎
Thank you very much
