its only $599 brand new right now... and pro tools perpetual comes with it so you will be able to ditch the subscription... I am waiting on delivery of mines now, would not have bought this without pro tools perpetual...
@@datzbeewild I got a second hand so I think the person who had it already registered it. I emailed avid to see if they can release the control software then I can unlock it. But now I'm learning that there's some systems network issues which might be the reason why I can't register so I'll hold on to it for a couple of days and wait and see if it will write me back.

And what makes it so bad, I couldn't even call them because I didn't have that type of support plan with my subscription, all I can do is email them which is sad and picky so... I'm glad I only paid $99 for the subscription. But to me that's 98.00 too much.
same here it doesnt work. Installed the software (the previous owner must unregister it first) download and install the software add the serial number but it doesnt work. i bought it it second hand for 100E. (from an eshop) at least i lost 100 and not 500.
@@georgentassios2362 Nice. they took mine back at the store like I said I paid $499 for it. Luckily they took it right back instead of the cash I just took store credit and bought some other things that I needed for this CD that I'm working on. Like a Roland tr8 and a Alesis dm5. Stay tuned because I plan on doing a video about that combination.
