- 3x ASP World Champion surfer Colin Mcphillips is leading personalized, luxury retreats with Blue Zone SUP down in Costa Rica. In this video Robert, Rich and Erik are all trying out boards Colin shaped personally for them while our guest Alon is catching some really great waves too & progressing at a rapid pace. Colin is riding a new board for the first time as well in this video... Some really fun rides had by all & a great time surfing warm water with no crowds down here in paradise. Hit us up at info@bluezonesup.com if you're interested in coming down. Beginners, intermediate, and advanced paddlers are all welcome here!!
*Big thanks to James Rees for another incredible edit! - Спорт
Hard to believe it has been this long!
SUP surfing is radical. It's for sure my favorite thing to do. I just don't like other surfers hassling me because of what I ride. I feel the stoke no matter what.
dont think about them, just think about yourself.. maybe they are jealous coz you catch more waves then them... :D
There’s heaps guys out there on the wrong boards, but not the peeps on Sups😂 “Any wave is caught better on a standup” says G.Lopez🤙🏻
Awesome surfing. O to surf glassy waves.
really, really good vibrations!
waiting for our next sup trip this summer!
congrats!
Come visit us in Nosara!
@@BlueZoneSUP Impossible we are in Spain, Europe. A little bit far and we've but just adopted a dog so we should move locally. Maybe in the future!
Absolutely fantastic video. What size are those boards?
I LIKE TRY!
I recently came across a 9'2 Rogue Ripper (I think they're discontinued now) for bigger waves, when they come through. I have only been riding a stand up for a year now with 0 prior surf experience. I love riding waves on my 11 footer, but I wanted something a little more agressive, thus the 9'2. My only concern is it is only 28" wide, and me being a larger man (6'3 - 210) am having a difficult time holding my balance on it in flat water, let alone chop / waves.
any advice for a new short board SUP rider?
