Thank you! Keep it up. Where can I join your community? I am trying to improve and quit gaming and being around other people who do the same is a good way to stay motivated.
Can you join a group already doing an activity? Could you sign up for something? What about websites where people post events open to the public? What about finding a board gaming group? I've been off video for 5 years now. I make new friends and acquaintances by finding things to join. It's great. If it happens every week, then I have something to do to meet new people and make new friends every week. It takes time to develop friendships, but either way, I am doing an activity I enjoy. What I would have liked to have known and been better at was patience and development when I was younger. Things take time to develop. Acquaintances are good. Start where you are at and be okay with that. Friends take time to make. Appreciate what you have in the beginning and enjoy the journey you are on developing yourself and your friendships. I've also gone to GAA and ITAA meetings to support my journey staying off video games and for learning moderation for other screen activities.
Good channel it’s nice to see that you are helping people find their way and overcome their problems keep up the good work. I myself am still trying to find my way but your channel and videos did definitely make me think and I am still trying i do still struggle with high screen time through social media and consuming too much but thank you for making me aware of this issue and I have found some meaning through it and I am slowly doing other things I am not really gaming to much I unplugged my PlayStation for a while I will admit I did play at the arcade but yeah I’m doing better and I am motivated to actually you know do things and try not to be consumed by all technology especially the entertainment ones but I am grateful for atleast gaining some awareness from your videos. I may not struggle with gaming and I do play a bit but I’m planning to make sure it’s not the focus If I am going to continue I will make sure I’m not going to do it to as a crutch or to fulfill needs you also taught me that they are wired to be addicting and easily problematic if left unchecked or without change. I can now see that there is a life without games and constant entertainment. From now on If there’s a problem I’ll take responsibility with me I don’t know if I am going to aim to be rich but I will still try. W video/interview great work Cam.
I've just quit xbox and PlayStation i still have a nintendo switch and limit my game times as i was spending way to much money it consumed all my time. It made me unwell like i genuinely need help
Brother I have spent 4 thousand us dollars on PUBG mobile for different skins in two years. I have deleted my PUBG account permanently so that I can’t relapse again. Kindly please tell me in how much time I will feel normal or my dopamine receptors will become normal.
The only people that benefit from that are the producers and players. Those who consume it never grow. Consumption always do nothing good for you, especially entertainment.
"e-sports" ruined competitive gaming. It brought it to the mainstream and corporatized it. I attended a few LAN-Parties that were sponsored by local ISP in the 90's. And that atmosphere and experience was cool. People competed for cool sponsored prizes. Like New in Box Action Figures New Games, Maybe a Cash Prize but it was always under $1,000. And the competitors were just everyday locals. Not these snot nosed punks that call them selves "professionals".
@GameQuitters u keep downgrading games like it's a bad thing if certain plp can't manage gaming and their life that's them nit gaming that a them problem

If we must stop playing video games what must we do because some of people like me don't have friends and I'm shy to talk to strangers in reality.

The irony of stupid time waster mobile games being advertised by YT during this vid…
Oh god it’s coming out my aaauahahshshsh my man made glue!
What age should I quit gaming? I just don’t know anymore, I’m planning to quit at like 16, the dopamine is just ruining my life.
sooner the better!
I wish I knew about dopamine and that stuff at 16
Just quit MOBA, GACHA, and any "battle royale / Arena Shooters". Play some older games by your self.

Focus on being productive. Make the days count. Don’t count the days.
I have stammer and I love fps games but how do you think about e-sport
