Im admittingly doing the glide duplication glitch all day long. It just saves time farming materials so mindlessly. My only defense is thats its a single player game anyway so its not like im hurtin anyone.

@@joshnizzle But you can do 3-4 at a time with the glide version so it evens out, especially if you've gotten your home built on that big flat piece of land above Tarry town.
46:10 to answer Seth's question, if you want to know the total number of fuse-able weapon combinations its: (Number of fuse-able items) x [ (Number of swords & shields) + 1]. So the number is INSANE!! (The extra +1 factor is made to account for the fact that you could fuse all the fuse-able items to an arrow.)
Great episode everyone! Seth, the fusions had me laughing! Thank you for attaching the flame item to a broom, a classic! Thanks everyone at IGN for your efforts in exploring Hyrule and the skies above and depths below!
Breath of the wild was my first Zelda game experience. Loving tears of the kingdom as well. Planning on playing the older ones as well with my son in the future.
Best aging of the group is on SNES, for me and would recommend skipping 2, but solid games and curious how people would feel if BoTW was their first as it is so different
If you're planning on playing the 1986 NES original, don't hesitate to use a guide or walkthrough when you feel stuck, as games that old were made so that you needed a guide or to call a 1-900 hint line. If you don't, there will be things like having to burn, every, single, bush, on every, single, screen, until you find a secret. Also, don't be dissuaded from trying 1987's "The Adventures of Link". Yes, it is the black sheep of the mainline home console Zeldas, but it's still a fun, weird action rpg side-scrolling platformer. And if you already have NES Online then it won't cost you a penny!
I'm so mad. You didn't give a spoiler alert before telling us about the Applebee's in Tarry Town. At least you didn't spoil the (spoiler) spicy boneless wings fuse item.
More like....exploiting....not cheating. In my estimation, BOTW & Tears both contain enough moments of frustration (you're climbing a large mountain and suddenly it begins raining, anyone???) that it makes those moments of "exploitation" feel all the more rewarding.
I've said this before -- You can cheat any one part of ToTK at any time (and probably will by complete accident.) You can cheat the game as a wole some of the time. But there's so much in total that you can never cheat all of ToTK all of the time. (Unless you have extensive foreknowledge, which is true of any game that isn't pure RNG.)
Here is a legendary tip for you. Make elixirs using 4 guts and a restless cricket or something. The more the gut sells for on its own, the better. My recommendation would be to use molduga guts considering you get 3 to 5 molduga guts every time you kill one and moldugas are fairly easy to kill. Cooking things adds up the value of all the items you put into the meal and then slaps a 1.8x multiplier on the result. Molduga guts sell for 110 rupies. 4 of those would be 440 rupies. Cook that into an elixir and the multiplier would bump things up to 792 rupies plus whatever the value of the bug you tossed in was.
This video makes me question whether yall really Played BotW. Describing Kilton as if you've never met him before - didn't know blupees drop money? Didn't know they were called blupees? There are side quests for all these things. Did no one complete the compendium?
Let me correct your infinite master sword explanation. The idea is to duplicate weapons across save files. So you go to a specific spot in a shrine that happens to be directly above the cave you start the game in. Save game. Start new game save, go to exact spot in cave when you still have master sword. Manual save. Then load up your normal game save and do weapon duplication glitch, but instead of exiting pause menu, immediately load early save file you made. Weapon drops in that cave before Ganondorf resurrects. By picking it up, it unlocks inventory screen which is crucial, because that allows you to do same thing in reverse and dupe the early game master sword back into your normal save. And that master sword has infinite durability as it isnt the "real" master sword and was never intended to be used outside of that early game sequence.
not dying is a game mechanic, the mystic set lets you lose rupees instead of health when you get hurt, thus being invincible is already an intended part of the game, Now Nintendo certainly didn't plan for you to be able to get rupees as fast as you can by selling duped diamonds, but you can effectively make yourself unkillable in the mystic set with enough rupees.
Real talk, we’re debating it but we feel like it feels too soon? I don’t want folks to rush through the story just to catch up. This game feels so special and we all wanna savor it.
On the glitches, I'm pretty sure there's a mix of people who really understand the glitches from BotW with the fact that parts of the code were stolen by emulators/pirates.
This episode is great, this game is absolutely breathtaking, and I'm so incredibly happy to be experiencing it for the first time alongside so many Zelda fans 😊
Yes you can get the real master sword too the fake master sword is the master sword link has when he walks with zelda when they find Ganondorf. It's that master sword that you get over to your gameplay. And you can fuse rings to ut but not the intended way.
14:53 This is my biggest problem with the game-quality-of-life tools like Autobuild should be available at the beginning, not buried under multiple layers of obscure side quests.
Combat is infuriating. You can't claim hundreds of thousands of hours of gameplay if you're making them play the same thing over because it's brutal he keeps killing them and they have to play it over and over and over to finish it
