Any type of metal tools use would have worn out very rapidly. Would have required intense tool maintenance and planning to keep tools in order. It's an immense undertaking on every level.
Each pillar is so beautifully carved and with intricate idols and figurines is incredible. It's unimaginable how hard work and time consumed for the work done .we are proud of our kannada Nadu and our history and culture.

We need to preserve our rich culture, heritage and architecture, because governments wants only revenue from the temples but they don't care about upkeeping, maintenance and preservation of such marvellous temples, therefore our religious leaders should come forward and crowdfund to save these temples

Thank god we have undefaced sculptures which reveal the extent of sculptural heights our artisans reached.
