    Someone taught me this mudra when I knew nothing at all about mudras. And they said it will help one walk faster when they’re going on a walk. And yesterday I saw a video by Mr.DVS Iyer and he said it’s very helpful during hiking and climbing stairs. And I actually tried it when I was hiking last evening and it helped me go uphill much more easily than usual.

    Sir I started apanvayu mudra from yesterday and I am urinating in every hour. So should I stop this mudra or not .. but I feel very light and good after yesterday session.. so tell me. . should I stop this or not?

    Dear sir, thanks for these awesome vids! I ve got a couple of questions 🙄
    -can mudras be combined with chanting or listening to mantras? Are there some rules which mantras would be ok to combine with which mantras..? 🤔🤔
    -if i want to perform two different mudras daily (im considering prana mudra and apan vayu mudra), can i do these both back to back (right one after another) or is it better to do for example one in the morning and one in the evening? 🤔🤔

      - Yes. But you need to be mindful of mantropasana and the effects of each harmonic vibration on the mudra also.
      - Yes. You can and yes there is a time for each mudra as per your body prakriti.

      @@tiarianamanna973 mantropasana is a vast subject. Mudras as well. Books can help but ideally get trained by a master or practitioner. You can start with Indu Arora's Mudras or Gertrud Hirschi's books.. mantras there are plenty, but wouldn't recommend book based practice.

    Can we do asthma mudra and brochial mudra with this mudra ? Post corona i m always in stressand fall sick easily but can not digest strong medicines . I m taking antacids and ibs medicine daily still can not tolerate strong medicine.

    Dear Sujit..are there any mudras to relieve stiffness of body? i do walk for half an hour in the morning and then do pranayam for 10 minutes aftet taking rest of 10 minutes in shavasana..in the evening i do half an hour physical yoga..but little stiffness always remains. am 56 male and had heart attack three years ago and carry a stent in heart..overall healthy

      Yes no harm but ideally focus on one thing at a time. Mindfulness is key. 15 min in one shot.

    Namaskar - what is the difference between apana-vayu mudra & apana mudra (vayu & jaal pointed out) ???

      The workings of both are different. Apana deals with balancing of the apana vayu only. Here Apana Vayu means the wind humor per se. The Mudra Apan Vayu is is more to deal with circulation and pumping of the heart and strengthening its wall

    Sir I am doing this apan vayu mudra with kapalbhati ,,deep breathing,, anulom vilom vamri and Om . But Kapalbhati pranayama with apan vayu mudra create negative effect or not ? Bec I am doing regularly and u r telling not require but why Sir ? Ples sir give me the answer then I will be grateful to you

      Focus on a limited group of practices. Effect is better

      Ideally start with 2 or 3 mudras and practice and perfect them. Personally I do the same. While it is not bad to do 12, the depth in each matters depending on the condition you are doing the mudras for.

    Healthy person can do this mudra?.
    By the online information about mudras is only health issue people should do mudras and it is for only 60 min in one day. It is correct or wrong. Plz answer me sir..

      No. Even healthy people can do mudras. The key difference is between the structuring and practice if ailment or issue related vs. general health. E.g. like doing any exercise for a. General health vs doing it if you want to eliminate disease.

    I am confused because I was told that this mudra is highly effective in respiratory diseases like asthma. When I am coughing or having problems with my asthma this works perfectly. I stop coughing. Of course, I am still and breathing normally but no coughing at all.

      When you sleep you sleep. It is not known to me how one can do mudra when asleep.

      @@deepthir8034 Sit on a chair, close your eyes, be still and focus on your incoming -outgoing breath at the entrance of your nostrils for 10 minutes if possible twice a day. This is practiced all around the world as anapana meditation --part of vipaasna meditation and keeps you relaxed. If you want to be guided then enter the following on Google search engine "10 minute mini anapana meditation in English by SN Goenka' Best wishes.

      Sowmya, Sit on a chair, close your eyes, be still and focus on your incoming -outgoing breath at the entrance of your nostrils for 10 minutes if possible twice a day. This is practiced all around the world as anapana meditation --part of vipaasna meditation and keeps you relaxed.     Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy , open heart surgery 8 months back done , 9yrs female kid, sometimes palpitations & shortness of breath , if she adviceble for this mudra ? Sir guide me thank you

      Yes, but one has to take into account the current condition of her body as well, would recommend a trial for a week, alternate days only.

    Is this Hridaya Mudra or Aapan Mudra?
    Index finger touching the tip of the thumb is Hridaya Mudra as far as I know. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.
