Viserys Paddy Considine is what blew me away this episode. He had the more difficult performances to pull off as opposed to what 8 minutes of Daemon in a fight against a paper villain.
Matt Smith is doing way more incredible job carrying the climaxes of these episodes. Carrying an emotional weight of a character without saying anything is way too hard than saying "oh look I'm sad, I'm angry, I'm happy!". There's a reason people are all praises for Matt as he is the MVP of Episode 3. No need to be passive aggressive about it.

I love how all the “nerds” (and I use that word lovingly by the way) were chanting Seasmoke! Seasmoke! Seasmoke! They knew it was him instantly because of his color I assume. Seasmoke was a silver-grey dragon and even though we didn’t get like a a super duper closeup of him, he was obviously silver and grey, so there was no doubt that was Seasmoke. Admittedly I looked it up. I didn’t even notice his color when he showed up and I didn’t notice who was riding him. All I noticed was that it wasn’t Rhaenyra on Syrax and it wasn’t Caraxes flying by himself.
I’m so happy to see GOT Fans excited again after the disappointed most felt at the close of the last series. The bar will fill up with more fans, I’m sure. We will have that same magic again….it has already begun to take hold. This last episode was what we all needed. It was our first real big win after GOT’s epically tragic end.
Now I come back to watch through the whole season 1 HOTD with the Burlington Bar, man this scene at 6:07, when Viserys tells his daughter that he swears she will never be supplanted and she doesn't really believe him, this makes the now legendary scene of Viserys struggling his way to the Iron Throne to defend his daughters son's claim to Dragonstone in episode 8, even more powerful and poignant. Viserys the Peaceful never stopped fighting.
The director of this episode said that Rheanyra, Viserys and Daemon emerge out of episode 3 reborn with new perspective on who they are and what their purpose is. Well we just saw Daemon hear that help is coming and he can finally take a breather, but instead he rows out on his own, feigns surrender, and like a coiled snake he strikes cutting down 16 MEN all on his own like he’s playing Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor or Devil May Cry 5, gets saved by his army, and then kills the Crab Feeder and drags his corpse out showing off his new trophy! Daemon just leveled up to Legendary Badass level with that scene alone.

Daemon easily get offended. the aid from his brother saw as sympathy so that's why he reacted that way
Ngl I melt every time they pan to Captain America and he's just smiling hahahaha😊
Oh man would be great to watch these episodes in a bar 😫
Lol. Ik you're kidding
Na lol some people reactions are over exaggerated sometimes like the chick with the pink hair for example😂
@@SkankHunt42O why would I be kidding? I would love to be chillin in a bar eating wings and having a drink or 2 while watching GOT episodes. What’s not to like?
@@PheraohTube you can't hear the dialog
Daemon is such an epic character.
He embodies the bad boy image perfectly. He's reckless, rude, quick to anger, does what he wants without giving a single shit about the consequences yet is somehow the most charming man in the GoT and HoD universe. You just cannot hate him because he's a badass.
0:13 green haired girl seems like she would be totally into going out with a dangerous asshole like Daemon regardless, and her redheaded friend seems like the kind of girl who will explain to her friend exactly why that's a bad idea (and probably get ignored) xD
@@airwaters omg complete and utter bs. Anyone saying that doesn't know a GD thing about acting. And Paddy has also been displaying emotion without saying anything as well. Gesus did you completely gloss over the tent throne scene? Or others? Way to display your complete bias.
Why even compare, you two? Just enjoy both of these amazing performances for what they are; amazing.
The comparison is pointless. Two completely different performances, and both are amazing. Matt and Paddy are great actors, period.
It has to be awesome being Matt Smith and go in that bar after that ending scene.
pink hair is so extra 🤣🤣
10:07: Now I remember who the Crab-King reminds me of..."Foo" from the "Golden Child" (with Charles Dance a.k.a. Tywin Lannister & Eddie Murphy)!
Looks like the crowd size is growing with each episode
After episode 3, I think Daemon is written as the anti-hero of House of the Dragon series. We are rooting for him, but in the most hypocritical way, circa Walter White in BB, and Tony in The Sopranos. R.R. Martin knows his audience. Loved this bar reaction! Wish I was there for this one!!!!
so good to see y’all back at the bar 🥰
Next episode Daemon makes a fortune from his crab fermentation business.
The hell is the girl in pink hair doing?
Having a good time
@@RicoSoprano_ ah yes, bacause you have to look like you are spazzing out to have a great time hahahahaa
@@oscarnilsson2872 everybody express the excitement differently…….she obviously had a few drinks too. Just because your a tight ass 😂
@@RicoSoprano_ The person next to her is also trying to have a good time
@@christophersekulo4157 it’s a bar with drunk ppl…..go home or don’t watch it lol simple
There's lots of Matt Smith fans in that pub. Daemon is a great character and Matt nails it acting him. But I don't like his character as much as I like Rhaenyra or Viserys
Maybe I’m expecting a lot, but I don’t feel Rogue Prince from his delivery that often…
I agree, Matt smith is a great actor and plays Dameon well, but most ppl just find him attractive so he can literally do anything and ppl will just blindly praise it.
Haven't read any of the books, so I don't have any expectations.
I agree with you, I took a liking to Rhaenyra and Viserys right away. Daemon is cool and all, but I'm not with him yet.
Well did someone forcing you to like him?
@@airwaters Little hostile. I said Daemon is a well written character and Matt plays him great. I'm sure I'll grow to like him more when the show continues with his storyline
I clapped my hands with y'all hahahahaaa love Daemon
Lmao I love how Caraxes is the most universally loved Dragon in the show😂❤
this episode was just fulllll of shade lmaoo the library was open!
I watch these episodes in closed captions. It read Sea Smoke screeches when he comes on screen.
11:13 pink haired girl OA on camera 🙄
Lady in the middle casting spells with her hands was funny af
I’m so happy to see GOT Fans excited again after the disappointed most felt at the close of the last series. The bar will fill up with more fans, I’m sure. We will have that same magic again….it has already begun to take hold. This last episode was what we all needed. It was our first real big win after GOT’s epically tragic end.
Always fun when there's despair and out of nowhere dragon fire appears!!!!!
FIRE AND PUGS 🐶
The pink hair girl is crazy hands
the green haired woman loooves dragons and daemon xd
Now I come back to watch through the whole season 1 HOTD with the Burlington Bar, man this scene at 6:07, when Viserys tells his daughter that he swears she will never be supplanted and she doesn't really believe him, this makes the now legendary scene of Viserys struggling his way to the Iron Throne to defend his daughters son's claim to Dragonstone in episode 8, even more powerful and poignant. Viserys the Peaceful never stopped fighting.
Hail Prince Daemon true King of Westeros
Pink gilr wtf xdd
The lady with pink hair would drive me nuts if I was sitting near her
Why? Lol
Same 😂
So over the top for camera attention lol green hair is an OG 👌🏽
I notice it’s mostly girls who complain about her which is very telling lol I barely even notice her
@@RicoSoprano_ it’s also very telling that you would try to insinuate that women who are specifically talking about her means something else other than that it’s distracting to watch a show when someone you are sitting next to is having over the top reactions. Chill dude
The reactions I had missed
Eu também só gritava "Quero um desses quando o dragão chegou!"
I can't believe Captain America didn't put on his shirt for this episode.
Love the Seasmoke chants
7:03 To paraphrase Parks & Recreation:
"LOOK, who HASN'T had [dragon] thoughts?!?" 😅
Thats why they use crows now as messenger HAHAHAHA xD
I feel like Viserys is just a regular nice guy like us that caught up in kingship. The first time i see him, i see him as weak, but i sympathize to him more and more.
Agreed, until I remember him killing his wife
@@peterretep1010 yeah that was messed up, but he did that under an immense pressure. Not that i'm saying it's right, but even we can do bad things under pressure..
@@peterretep1010 No he did not. Raise your IQ, clean your ears, wash your eyes, improve your comprehension skills, reduce your cognitive dissonance, get comfortable and watch the episode again.
Anyone else becoming more and more stressed the two ladies have the Stop sign at their table and aren't being served! Get them a drink! :)
tell pink hair to tone it down
This bar is legendary.
This episode was so good
Bring back those ladies who were wearing orange shirts, loved their reactions! 🥰
