      So far I’ve got around 10K rounds through the 4 mags with these basepads/spring and follower kits. I am starting to see some cracking of the metal on the basepad where the groove is machined so it can slide onto the magazine. But, nothing broken yet.

      @@lovetopew9054 not sure what the replacement policy is with Henning but I’d give it a shot and ask if you can get replacement.

      @@ACxREAL eh, not worried yet. They aren’t broken and I’m keeping an eye on the crack. They get dropped on hard concrete floor all winter long at our indoor league so that is pretty tough on them.

    Will these fit on the Masada Slim 13rd magazines? The slim takes the larger CZ Shadow 2 magazines, so I'm thinking they should work. The spring in the slim 13rd magazine is long as hell, so these baseplates won't even need a longer magazine.

      @@copper178 sorry, I’m not familiar with those magazines so I honestly have no idea.

    Thanks for posting my man! Would you know if these fit the restricted mec-gar 15 rounders by chance?

      I can't answer that, but I recommend you shoot a message to the Henning Group and you'll get a response. Their customer service is very good and you'll get an answer in short order.

    Looks great, but how to disassemble it for cleaning?

    • @lovetopew9054
      @lovetopew9054  Год назад +1

      The base pads have a spring loaded catch on the back, you can depress it and the pad slides off the magazine.

      @@lovetopew9054 The magazine spring is unreachable and stops the base pad, at least that's what I see from my perspective. Be glad if I'm wrong

      @@gasshat you’re wrong. The spring is flexible and removing the base pad is no issue.

    How reliable does it feed with the stock springs?

    • @lovetopew9054
      @lovetopew9054  Год назад +1

      Not at all. OEM springs and followers did not work. Followers jammed in the magazines. I switched to the grams spring and follower and they’ve been 100% since.

      @@lovetopew9054 How come you had 4 of the same with stock spring and follower if they don't work? Did you find out after this video?

    • @lovetopew9054
      @lovetopew9054  2 месяца назад

      @@Natural9Alex Yes. This was just after I installed them. First match I had multiple malfunctions due to the followers getting stuck. I have used both Grams and MBX spring and follower combos and both have been 100% reliable. I have also used Rune Tactical followers and they have malfunctioned.

      @@lovetopew9054 Thank you for this info. Between the Grams and MBX which would you go with if you were to only get 1? I've heard MBX is more reliable, but wear out quicker.

    • @lovetopew9054
      @lovetopew9054  2 месяца назад

      @@Natural9Alex equally reliable. I generally install new springs and followers yearly. I’d buy whichever is cheaper. I want to say I’m running my current MBX stuff slightly longer at this point than the grams stuff. The springs might last a bit longer. I don’t have any science to back that up though and I went through quite a few more rounds in ‘23 than I have so far in ‘24. IMO no difference really.
