Essential Brimstone Site Smokes that Every Player Should Know on Haven | Valorant Guide

- Haven is the only map so far in closed beta with 3 sites, A, B, and C. This means that there are some great opportunities to smoke of the enemy defenders who may have their resources stretched a bit thin by the amount of sites.

In this video i'll be teaching the essential/basic site smokes for Haven and how to ensure that you and your team have a clear path to plant. In my own personal experience, this smokes have worked around 90% of the time when executed with my team. It's pretty staggering how poorly people have reacted thus far to teamwork. Your biggest draw backs will be pushing into agent like Sage, but that is a video for another day. Hope you all learn something new!

For the short alternate smoke where u don’t smoke heaven, there’s a molly you can throw from back long boxes that Molly’s over heaven (can be done with brim and Phoenix) that might be a nice addition to the strat as it allows easier time getting control

For c long I recommend using 2 smokes close right and then get one coving the long peek. The have a teammate watch platform and then peak close left. Works like a dream
3:20 you can clear that corner with a molotov before smoking. My friend and I don't smoke close because he'll use Breach's Flashpoint to Flash both sides and clear that corner.

In any game with smokes, you should always be smoking off the other team, not yourself. You're just setting yourself up to get sprayed through smoke or pushed. With many abilities present to deny plants (brim / phoenix molly, breach everything, raze everything), ,it's best if you smoke of choke points first to stop rotates and play the trade game to clear site. Think about how easy it is to hold off an A long plant with sage slows, brim smokes, phoenix flashes, omen blinds, etc...
These smokes may work in pubs once the player base increases and more bad/new players come, but if you plan on playing ranked I don't think these will work for you. If anything on that first triple smoke A you should smoke: Heaven, CT spawn, and maybe the A-short smoke so your team can wrap site and clear it while CT is smoked, and they don't have to worry about an a-short player sitting in the corner while they run up long A.
Smokes are meant to minimize angles in the push, not just go for plants ( I know you probably didn't mean it like that though lol).
Oo yee... Not site smokes thay enemy team pushes from random sides and kill you... I agree, i blame this guy for my brimstone players... Thay always smoke our vision insted of deep 1 smokes that if enemy pushes true he is dead. This smokes on site can only work in coordinated team with sova arrows and good teamwork but for solo Q just troll smokes
I think you both are misunderstanding. He's not smoking his or his teams vision. He's smoking off Power Angles and creating lanes for burst initiation.
Totally agree, 1min in the video i was saying the same thing, never ever smoke like this, i mean maybe in unrated or lower gold ranks, this may work. But in high level diamond+ even in low plat honestly this will never ever work. What you said is facts. The ideal bomb plant scenerio is smoking off rotate/choke points, clear site then plant. I mean plays like this only work like once. As it is so predictable ,not really ideal. All you're causing is more disorganization, as the enemy will have an idea where you and your team are positioned and you have totally no clue where they are, and that ends up as you being at a disadvantage straight away. As a smoker your job is to cut off enemy information and entry points, not your own. Even if you say this is a burst quick strat, it wont work in high level play, you will just just get spammed/pushed through. I do mention high level play alot, thats bcus this vid is suppose to be a tutorial and a tutorial is supposed to be videos about how to get better. And this is not how you get better. You're just setting yourself up to lose without questioning yourself what you did wrong.

If you don't actually clear site before planting such as clearing short a and instead just smoke it off any decent player is going to not let you plant. Anyone with a moly will send it there and most players will spray through smoke.
Drew Plunkett exactly smokes aren't just for planting you need them to push out the defenders, you cant just expect to run in there and plant for free

OBS Studio, recording with medium settings in game and very high bitrate for OBS, around 50000.

Of course Smoke isn't a literal wall, that wasn't really implied. You can "wall" off their vision which is just as effective in most cases. Didn't realize I had to spell that out for ya!
