I find it hard to figure good smoke spots. Split A is easy, but like Ascent both A and B sites need other utility until gettign to the sites. Smoking the sites then is bit more logical I have to stop wasting smokes start of round
Sean Liao I don’t play solo queue ever again. Every time I play my entire team is like “has anybody played games before” and are complete noobs, while the enemy plays like a 5 stack and know how to play the game. I only 4 stack or 5 stack now.
I just read the comments and crying. You cut a few words from the author's sentence and mix up it with your imagination =((( Every single game, what I have in solo q it's about my team come to a range of Raze's nade and just hold. They're waiting for enemy team rotate and then try to push 5 vs 5. Of course, defense sight has an advantage because defending it's easier than slow pushing. The author says you should make sure you kill Cypher's trap and then pushing. Or you can kill Sage's wall and keep pushing fast. The main thing - You Should Not Let The Enemy Team Rotate. You play 5 vs 2 and I always see, like I kill 1 person, my teammates kill the Second person and they're keeping holding! Coz of videos like that people literally NEVER pushing and always hold even if you're already in the site and ask your team to hold a spot. Every single player is so afraid of fire. They play so carefully. Extra careful and no one never push and just get killed by rotating enemies. Listen carefully 3 more times the Rule number 1. The author didn't say 'don't push' he just says make sure there are no 1-2 specific agents and try to kill Cypher's trap and KEEP PUSHING. I am so tired from teammates who literally NEVER pushing, when you can go 5 vs 2 make exchange kills, plant the bomb and win the round.
@@Freez0n Eco rounds aka economy rounds is round played to save money, generally you don't buy at all or spend a little. You try to attempt to kill as many enemies and steals guns to get money to play next round and win. Retaking is when the enemy took control of the site and you are literally *retaking the site* which you lost. For example, they planted at a in bind and you and your teammates is coming through your spawn to help retake the site, that's it.

I am not bad at all but if my teamates leave me 1v4,i cant really do much. I started playing with some ppl that are good so i am just climbing like that. Its the best thing to do

This has helped heaps. Got the knowledge of defense and somewhat of attacking figured out early on you can't just rush like cs. A lot of people don't get that nor understand what to do. I've shared this video around good video bro keep up the good work
these are great tips for when you're playing 5 man, but if you're in lower ranks playing solo almost nobody wants to entry frag. It's incredibly difficult to try to coordinate with your team when nobody is willing to peek the bombsite but you.
Yep, I solo queue sage most of the time because i have no friends and half of the time all of the duelists get instalocked and yet no one wants to entry frag

I've been seeing these tips and how to get better at valorant or games like cs go. Not that it's bad, but one concept these videos always forget to mention is experience. Just play the game, doesn't matter if you're new or bad at the game. Keep playing, stay untilted and you'll eventually get better.
The concept of these videos is to share experience to help you get there faster. No one needs to be told to "make experiences" and act upon them. That's an automatic process.
Haven’t herd you guys mention that when attacking B site on split you can use breach E to stun both heaven and vents by standing in the closest corner in garages.

Other things I'm struggling with: Deciding wtf to buy when I can't full buy. What should I be prioritizing? Shields, utilities, guns? I know it's depends on my agent/situations, but HOW should I go about making that decision?
Depends on what you're trying to do. A full save (not buying anything) can be good if you want to rush a site and hurt their eco. However, you could go a step up and get a sheriff/marshall/bucky and light armor for a more reliable fight (and potentially getting a better weapon). Utility is usually king, but remember that utility will NOT stop a fully bought team from stuffing you if all you have is a classic. What to buy is often a complex topic because buying anything is a risk. I usually prefer a weapon that can trade up with better weapons with a small amount of utility and shields.
The one thing I feel like csgo does better than valorant is map control, it seems each line of site leads to another Line of site, rarely does having map control give you an advantage in valorant because you can never get kills off the stupid angles
Great video, but if your mail goal is to try and help people out you might want to use the most recent version of split. In mid the wall before start for defenders doesn't go that far into mid, and the right side of mid doesn't have that wall their requiring you to use stairs. There is now a little box there and some buckets so T's can jump up and get a better angle up haven
Can I get a sound byte of the part where you say not to burn all of your Brimstone smokes at the beginning of every round? Because seriously, every single Brimstone I've played with does it. Every. Single. One.
the biggest problem in my games is that my teammates want to 5 man rush a site every round they won’t even do a split and i’m in plat. it’s crazy that even in this rank people still have no idea how to play the game
My entire strategy is just Rush. not even rush the site, just rush. grab a machinegun and rush.Rush, defines my entire personality. don't know where enemy is? rush enemy around corner? rush surrounded and outnumbered 3 to 1? rush have a trap set up and no reason to rush? rush anyway enemy behind smoke cover? you gotta rush 9 seconds left on timer and you have the spike? rush the enemy is rushing? rush back sniper watching hallway? there's only one solution...... now i gotta figure out why im always the first to get a kill and the first to die.
when you play a lot, thinking comes second hand. While these tips may help for now, they also can be counter productive making noobs think more than actually playing.
All these tips are useful... if you're not solo queuing and have teammates that will listen, but sadly you can play slow or use your brain but at the end of the day when your teammates just rush in one by one or not use/bait utility and you end up in a 2 v 5 or 1 v 4 then there's very little that you can do when the enemy is much more coordinated with you :(
If im on i attacker side I usually rush the site full on because they’re out numbered some of them are at a and the others at b so theyre out numbered and thats how I win attacker’s side
Omen is a pretty good area denial...well not denial but area control. No one wants to push smoke through a hallway, or run fast while risking blind. This gives time for the team to rotate.... If youre not playing with dumb randoms who aim at feet and watches the weirdest angles.
my best strat is to take a kill with the whole squad and immediately rotate to mid, then grab a kill again then switch to another site my strat is just about messing with the enemies minds thinking we rushed into a site
i made a good combo with sage and sova with pheonix , sova uses his arrow to locate the enemies and sage will wall of that area (on bob site) and i se my ult and fire wall and flash clearing a way to the plant site and plant the bomb and when im done planting timing my ult runs out and i return to my body killing any flankers.
so me and my teammates were rushing A site on Haven and we killed 4 enemies so we thought it was an easy win....but then we heard a voice...."Here Comes The PAAAArTTTTy"
the problem is if you dont have a 5 man team where everyone works together, you cant push a site in any capacity because you cant smoke off the annoying angles etc. while also being able to sufficiently carry your team to victory because that is all that happens when you solo queue, you join a team of 4 randoms that can barely aim and have 0 concept of basic strategy and give no effort to working as a team to end up winning, everyone just chooses jett/reyna or another duelist and plays alone often dying in the first 10 seconds of the round because they just full send rush into a site and get mowed down by the enemy team who is usually a lot more coordinated than your team.
