Brilliant! Been working on rotation all summer. Right knee beating the hands works! And that release drill of grip to target is magic!

You truly are WCG! I requested this in one of your previous videos and you came through. Thank you! I'm working towards being a certified teaching professional your experience helps. Personally love Henrik Stenson's swing and release. I watched him warming up before the BMW a few years ago and his ball striking was amazing. Thanks again for the video.

Great video Craig. I must say, you have an awesome swing. Very fluid and looks tension-free.

Yeah, this video pretty much says it all. I like how Craig simplifies stuff and doesn't make it sound like some magic mystery thing going on lol. My clubhead speed is a bit slow and I had not much momentum going through the ball. I thought I was releasing early and come to find out I was releasing a bit late. Great video!

Absolutely, Craig so many people are concerned with a massive back swing and impact position and fail to work on extention and length of club travel on the front part, (the business end), of the swing.

Hey Craig .best site out there.lot of good info without overload.can u clear something up for all of us? Athletic motion golf uses technology that proves early hand speed is key and literally all pros have it.personally I play my best when I feel a soft drop of the hands.how can you get that early speed without pulling down?

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  Год назад

      Hi Matt,
Im not sure what early hand speed means. There’s still a kinematic sequence I have Hand speeds o
And data from hundreds of pros
Sorry Never heard of early hans speed

Hi Craig; my concern with the release of the wrists move is that it's based on great timing which 90% of golfers just don't have & are not possibly capable of doing with any consistency. Obviously, anything new requires practice & hundreds if not thousands of repetitions to ingrain. Even world class players take a long time to make swing changes & make them work on the course. You mentioned the wrist bow which can cause a hook & other issues if overdone or the rest of the swing isn't matched to the closed face at impact although if done properly will give a nice draw. If these moves weren't so reliant on timing, they'd be great but most of us aren't accomplished players who are capable of the consistency required.

The release is not based on great timing Mike. It’s the normal release.

Very good. I have never considered getting the grip to the target at THE FINISH. I've had a high finish in the past..and I feel that this would round it out more nicely with an OBJECTIVE such as that..not just "rounding it out" haphazardly. Also good with the knee. I've had a problem with being too still and steady in the past...almost TOO behind it due to bad information in golf mags learning the game. I'm working on left hand staying more left side throughout and firing the right shoulder to push the club into a more resisting left side without it keeping the club too back..I think the knee and the grip drill will do quite nicely with that. Thank you.

Let’s see ... the right knee should beat your hands to the left knee... or, get there first.
Also ... slide your left hip to where it vertically over your left foot prior to turning it back.
I think I have it, Craig.
    Do I?

That’s a good sign.. then you can keep your side bend More
Bring the The right knee and more side bend ..
