I came here from Tim Dillon's podcast, and was hoping to see comments about it. So glad this was the first comment lmaooo!! I actaully love this show in the way Tim does, it's simply amazing and beyond entertaining. Must watch forsure
I’m a Brooke and Connor fan rewatching some old episodes, and I’m so confused by these Tim Dillon comments. Did he call them stupid or something? I saw a lot of mean comments (not necessarily this one but plenty others).
I mean a lot of what Brooke and Connor do is obviously sarcastic, and they play off the fact that they know they’re not the smartest people in the world. That’s part of their comedy, and apparently Tim Dillon fans are way dumber since they can’t understand sarcasm and satire.
imo, Tim Dillon was a mediocre comedian. Never had a problem with him but never was a fan either. But it seems his fans are a bunch of nasty incels.
Edit: oh apparently he made fun of Courtney not knowing what a consultant is… a nebulous job title that is largely a fake email job. How dare she not know that!

Like sometimes I try to turn a movie or something on but I always switch back lmao
I feel Brooke on dying in another reality. When I first got my license I didn't have a car so sometimes I would borrow my mom's car but for the most part I drove my uncle's car since he used it a lot less. One day I was picking up a pizza and the exit to the shopping center was like 4 lanes of traffic, 2 going one way and 2 going the other. I was very nervous cause there was a lot of traffic and I hadn't been driving by myself for too long but I just decided to go for it and I zoomed across the 4 lanes right as the light turned red so people were slowing down. I had to slam on my breaks but to this day I promise you I heard the car crash. It was so real I like froze and the light turned green and the cars started moving and no one seemed hurt but the noise felt so real and so I feel like I died but my consciousness made it to an alternate universe where I didn't however I still retained my old self's final memory, that noise, and to this day if I drive past that area I feel weird, like I'm driving past a grave.

I know people who are almost convinced this happend to everyone sometime around 2012. Idk, i know im not the only one who noticed. After 2010 came, things started feeling off. And than after 2012 everything started getting hectic and weird, it might of even started sometime in the 2000s, even when it turned from the 90s to the 2000s it didnt feel like this, but the 2000s still well alteast the first half was basically almost the 90s still, feeling wise, things sort of slowly progressed, now things move at a insane pace, everythings just totally rediculous. Maybe the mayans were right about something afterall. But to be real, ive questioned what ur saying many times, ive crashed street racing 3 times and blacked out from getting drunk and messed up so many times when i was younger, i used to think like what if i died and woke up in another timeline.

I am 23 and married and my husband is having to deal with my vivid dreams and nightmares as if he is my parent. I have constant nightmares and will wake up screaming and crying and never know I did it but will remember the dream I had that made me scared. I’m literally scared to go to sleep most nights just because of my dreams feeling so real

Yeah, they say like and all flock places they really have no business being in, onetime i was in LA on business in a expensive japanese place and a group came in, you would of thought it was the return of christ, cameras on poles, kids with cameras on all angles. And then they all sitdown like godfather style at a table and talk, and oh my god. They are by far, by a long long shot, the most shallow, insecure people you can across that exist in the US, i travel state to state on business, ive interacted with people from all over, LA people are like in a breed of there own man, i see it on flights to, theyll walk on a plane dressed in like pajamas and sandals and try to get bumped up into first class, and then will be complaining when people get chosen before them. Ive also seen the same situation with a passenger in first class, everyone else is dressed like a normal human being, this dude looks like he rolled out of bed and he was giving the stuartists a hard time the entire flight. Stay far away from LA and the people there, best advice you can get. If ur gunna move to cali, go north, or maybe san diego, definitly definitly not LA, but tbh all of socal shares this same personality style, it starts to change when you get to norcal a bit but you still find the same vibe. But yeah, im sitting there with my fiance listenening to these kids talk, meanwhile everyone else in the resteraunt is dressed up, the whole vibe of and setting and atmosphere the place had was totally ruined and you could tell by looking at the servers faces they were all looking at eachother rolling there eyes when they were walking in. These kids are literally using words that dont even apply like, one of the kids kept saying the word "arbitrarily" you could tell he just heard someone say it and had no idea what it meant, he kept using it over and over i almost turned around and actually said something. Dude its actually worse than you think it is, you have to be there to see it, the homeless, the way people act, dude if you think florida people are weird or shallow, LA makes them look like great people.

Tim Dillon fans (of which I am a massive one) you guys realise these guys are mostly joking. Connor and Brooke are pretty smart, comedy wise - mostly satirical humour if you look at their IG/tiktok.They’re self aware, it’s a comedy podcast - most of the social media comments and questions are said in jest.
So wouldn’t start roasting them as if you’re doing sonething haha
They are definitely joking and playing up the “dumb” to be funny but they definitely are like this In some regard. For example Courtney truly didn’t know what consultant meant/was. They are more just clueless than anything. No hate, it’s hilarious.

I literally have the same exact sleeping/dream problems as courtney... I have so many memories that I can't tell if they're actual memories or just dreams that I've had. I slept in my moms bed until I was 14 and would try to stay in my own bed but literally just couldn't because I was too afraid of the dreams I would have. I have dreams that are just regular days and are so vivid but theres no point to them like I'm just dreaming a super regular day. I've been having insane nightmares lately too and it's AWFUL

It used to be like this back in the day, but its even wayyyy more like this now. The problem is you have kids whose familys are down to literally buy them a place to live anywhere, and alot of them come from that type of environment, they never had to work for it, or much. Thats why most of them are lazy, and arent selfaware, and also come off entitled as humanly possible. This used to be a thing with people trying to land acting gigs, now its basically all tiktok and influencer kids, who are already rich, whose parents fly them out there to live so they can live there out there little 4 month old fantasy. Its some of the most entitled garbage there is. I live in NYC, ive lived here my whole life, ive seen cali influencers think like new york is some like idk cultural euphoric haven or something, and they move here with delusions and grandeur and dont even last a year, meanwhile i know plenty of new yorkers who moved to cali all over, LA, san diego, and made it. There cut from a totally different cloth, if there was never a work ethic instilled by now, theyre most likely never will be for people like this. I mean they actually think there influencing people, like influencing them to do what? watch the video ? like i dont get it.
