    • @theequalizer9154
      @theequalizer9154 Месяц назад +1

      The low-level Court can be overruled upon appealing in a higher court. This man should take this, if he has to, to the U.S. Supreme Court. This matter is a violation of his Constitutional Rights, most definately. He should also sue, and has grounds for lawsuit(s) as well.

    • @aeonise
      @aeonise Месяц назад +2

      Unfortunately, this is a major problem with the US court system as it is now. Lower courts can do whatever they want and flatly contradict SC rulings, laws, and the Constitution itself, and you have no immediate recourse. All you can do is sit in prison and start the slow process of appeals through an appellate court that is probably just as hostile to your rights as the first judge. And even when the ruling is overturned months or years later, the judge who _broke the law_ has no consequences. Higher courts have no enforcement mechanism, no way to punish rogue judges. Every judge is basically king of their own little world.

Mr Taylor is well educated about the 2nd Amendment and can speak about more facets of what the 2A entails than probably most attorneys. Since his home built firearms have not been out of his home or fired, did NY utilize FISA to collect information about him without a search warrant? Did they have a warrant? This should make every U.S. citizen furious, whether you support the 2A or not! Thank God no one was injured in this early morning raid. No warrant? This is unspeakable. This whole case is an insult. I'm one hand you've got people arrested for violent crimes including assaulting police officers that walk without bail. And in this case you have somebody that has no criminal record, committed no physical criminal acts and showed no intention of committing physical criminal acts. He was not assembling weapons and selling them on the internet. And this whole thing of simply having a gun is illegal is absolute bullshit.
    A GUN IS NOT A WEAPON. A gun is a tool. A golf club is not a weapon. A hammer is not a weapon. A half pound of frozen sausage and a tube sock is not a weapon.
    An object only becomes a weapon when it is used against another person. I cannot understand why this is so freaking hard to understand.
    The fact that cities are allowed to make laws saying that the people that live there have to be unarmed because we don't want guns here is just absolutely stupid. Those laws work so well because the criminals definitely never use guns against people.
    Now, the only thing I will say is if he lived in New York and knew that that was city law then he was taking that risk of having to deal with then. However, going all in and throwing the maximum sentence at him is if he was a lifelong offender just to send a message to everybody else is a little bit ridiculous. It's like the message they're sending is hey you don't want guns in your house or we'll come after you. Kind of like they did with the people of January 6th where they went above and beyond on all the criminal prosecution just to deter anybody from thinking about doing it again. This is why I have no trust in our government.

    I can't get 'Serialized Gun Parts' sent to my house.
    'Serialized Gun Parts' must to be sent to an State FFL License Holder where I can pick them up after I've passed a Background Check.
    I have no idea how he convinced a manufacturer to ship them to his house unless they were 'Unlicensed 80% Parts' and if he finished and assembled those parts he really did have Ghost Guns.

    "ghost gun" is a liberal term. Same as an Assault Weapon

      It’s a term the government controlled media wants to spread and use to separate us. Never be fooled into thinking it’s left and right. It’s the haves vs the have nots.

    I've always felt the forefathers messed up bigtime with their ambiguously written amendments. It left it up to interpretation. And while I'm TOTALLY not a gun guy (Canadian who doesn't hunt) I have heard and agree with both sides of the argument.

    I dare you to try to find a law at the time of the founding, 1788 to to the ratification of the Bill of Rights, that proscribes making firearms for personal use.
    The 2A Trumps New York state law.
    Dexter will ultimately be exonerated but only after being unjustly imprisoned for an indefinite period of time. And for what? Being brave to exercise his natural rights. Rights which the government has a duty to protect.

    6:24 The issue is most of the State is red except for the high population city locations which trump all the other counties. That's why I keep bringing up that States should be exactly how the Federal Government is. Electoral. Have each county be 1 electoral vote at state elections for Governor and Senate. It's the same situation in California.
