I imagine most sane Americans are in contempt of the NY courts as a whole. Respect is 'earned'.
As David is wrong to say Trump is "guilty of contempt" (when it should be in contempt) you are wrong to say "in contempt" when you mean contemptuous.

I have nothing but utter contempt for any and all who think they are morally superior, and they have already decided as a Judge your guilty of Wrong Think!
"Narrative Control" is what the judge demands total authority over, but he is not going to be able to run such a show trial while so many people are holding him to account as this trial goes public through multiple different voices, leaving the judge to be scrutinized to the same standards as Trump.
So far, the judge makes Trump look like a saint, this political persecution has already failed and they know as much so they are tossing the script and playing by ear. But sadly, they are making brash decisions based off hysteria and fear alone, nobody wants people in power that are incapable of retaining ones sanity. The judge should already have an investigation underway into what his private communications have to offer, if a committee finds this judge has been in cooperation with the Biden Admin that is just another damning crime against this failed Administration that continues to prove it can never be allowed to retain hold of our governance. These people all should be blacklisted from holding government employment, they are radical cultists demanding blood for the sake of blood, and they get it "by any means necessary." Evil.

A superior court must step in and quash this proceeding and refer the judge to a review panel for dismissal from the bench.

Gagging Trump to "protect the dignity of the court" is absolutely ridiculous and unconstitutional. One of the main points of our freedom of speech is to be able to speak out against our government and it's players.

One should not preside over a prosecution when one has an obvious and pronounced animus for the defendant. For that reason alone, Mr. Acting Justice of the NY Supreme Court, Juan Marchan should recuse himself for this reason. Add in the appearance of a conflict of interest by reason of his daughter's pecuniary interest, and I'm wondering why someone from the State AG's Office or the Bar Association has not tapped him on the shoulder about this.
Yup. The United Soviet Socialist State of New York is _happy_ with this "hangin' judge". His gag order is neither lawful nor constitutional. He knows it. He has to know it unless he is incompetent before the law. That means he is knowingly making false statements on legal documents, which is yet another reason to consider removing him from the bench entirely.
