Good video but I wish all the settings you have changed between laps were written somewhere clearly on the screen. Thank you, it helps me understand a little bit more about settings. Can't wait for bike season and be as stocked as Paul when I'll find the good settings :D !!
I just used one today. Borrowed it from a friend to just see what it said. I felt like I had my suspension pretty solid. Every lap I made slight changes the wiz recommended and each lap after my bike kept getting better and better. They work. Now my “trail” bike and the fork on my DH/park bike feel SOOOO good. No more arm pump.
2:05 does someone know the exact song in the background? They were playing this ain't no mountain high enough remix at Crankworx Rotorua but I cannot find this version. Cheers.
Paul, thanks for the video. Can you summarize your final settings for both shock and fork including your weight? i.e. pressure, sag, rebound, LSC, HSC, spacers. Thanks!
Just a recommendation not a demand. You can add them when you get home or if you have a ramp control cartridge then you can just dial in the progressivism.
It’s really not that bad. I did it. For my fork it was 10 min start to finish. For my shock 15min. You don’t have to remove the shock. I just rode with a Fanny pack with the tools needed. It’s not much. A small socket wrench for the air chamber on the fork and a shock strap wrench for the shock. Easy as.
Paul is here! I am really into this idea, well technology and software on the bike (I'm a software engineer in the Android world) I hope one of these companies will be looking to integrate Android into bikes and give me a job in the PNW where I can ride bikes
I love them. Luckily I have a buddy with 2 (he’s a tester for a big bike brand). Every new bike or fork/shock. It’s the first thing I do. I thought I was decent at setting up my suspension. This just takes it to the next level. It felt good with my way. Now it feels perfect with the Shockwiz help.
I can dream all I want but their no way I could afford a shockwiz. Even if I could I bet that just keeping entries of what I’ve done and adjusting each ride would be just as good and it’s free. I also like going to demo days and trying different tunes all day.
This rider is annoying AF, sorry to say bur yeah. Also wish they displayed what the Shockwiz summarized somewhere on the video. This video was a cluster of confusion.
Pretty sure Kaz changed my summer - thanks a bunch! That dude knows a lot about bikes 🤙
You need the specialized shock floor pump dude!
Specialized make a floor pump for suspension. My local shop uses one, pumps up forks and shocks ridiculously fast and easy.
Zak James same here Zak

This was a confusing video
Queue theme song, Curb your Enthusiasm...
I really don’t get Paul owning being a punter. It’s still a bad thing regardless of if you acknowledge it before someone can call you out on it
so if you're out trail riding, and you do a lap and it recommends adding volume spacers, you have to do this while you're out on the trail?
Just a recommendation not a demand. You can add them when you get home or if you have a ramp control cartridge then you can just dial in the progressivism.
Yes. If you dont do back to back testing, how do you expect to get good results when setting up your suspension.

5 years on now, what we thinking about this? First I've heard of it!

@@bullit4xsince commenting I've bought 2 and run them full time. So good!

Get a handful of friends to split the cost?
Buy it and rent it to your friends.
@@nickzarnetske9994ha, thats what i just did..
How tall are you and what size trek you on ?
2019 must have for the group
Is this also for ohlins ???
All air shocks and forks
Tmac in the back at 4:30
question... works on 2018 specialized epic ?
It’s for all air shocks and forks. The type of bike doesn’t matter one bit
Please raise the gopro so we can see the trail and not the frame.
My good mate Nigel wade or wode I don’t rly remember invented it
lol

Meh....shockwiz if you dont know what to look for.
This makes no sense. The shockwiz even asks you what you want. it just makes the setup a lot easier.
Seems bullcrap
100% bullcrap
