@@arzfan29 Nooo that one's actually good, you just have to get past the first part of it. If we're talking about bad and boring ones then look at Persona 1's
I wouldn't watch it every time. So either I watch it, or I skip it as soon as I can, if I take too long and the music is already far enough, I let it play.
If it's someone who's new to the game, I would tell them to skip the intro to avoid spoilers like "who's gonna join in the future" because I mean...it's considered as spoilers and I'm tired of pretending it's not...
Given that the very first scene of the game has all party members speaking, in fairly distinctive voices, and all but Futaba and Yusuke can be found around the school, complete with artwork and voice lines in contrast with generic NPCs who get neither, I wouldn't call it nearly as much of a spoiler as you say. That's even ignoring the "anime MC with spikey hair" cliche, where important characters will stand out from having a more unique character design compared to generic NPCs. It's hard to not see Haru in the hallway, with a bright pink jacket and colorful stockings, full artwork and a voice blurb speaking with an unnamed teacher without artwork or a voice, and not realize she's going to be a major character. The entire game is even built on "getting spoiled", as much of "the game" is a flashback with Sae explaining who each target is before you meet them, and the game itself showing off "how things unfolded" rather than just "what happened". It may technically be spoilers, but it's spoilers akin to hearing that the bad guy loses in the end. It's not particularly difficult to predict that's going to happen, but the real spoiler would be the reasons and motives of it. Seeing Yusuke in the OP doesn't exactly explain the reasons why he decided to join them, what his internal character struggle is, or how his character changes and grows over his social link. It's like a Murder Mystery. Knowing "the aunt dies" doesn't matter nearly as much as "who killed her and for what reason?".
@@Late0NightPC Firstly, seeing the characters around school with their artwork doesn't mean shit when every confidant and other characters that has some importance in the story, has it. And there's a reason why in the opening we can't see their faces, and who would remember their voices later that well? Finding out about the characters when it's the right time in the story, is the way to go. Knowing the character will join just by seeing it in the intro can ruin it for people. The flashback scenes are ok in the regard of spoilers, and it builds hype. I'm not saying seeing the pt members before they join is something that would ruin the story, but I think it's more fun to learn about the characters before we se them join, rather than knowing they will join before that. It's a preference a lot of people would have, so I think it's a valid reason to skip the intro of Royal(because the original is way more vague and you only know about the original four, which is reasonable since they're all joining in the first ark).
@@crossingoftheanimals a lot of video games covers has a lot of characters that won't necessarily join the main team. And a person can chose to not look at it, and to skip the intro in the first playthrough...
I watch the intro until the first few frames of Ann shaking her ass then skip it. That's all I needed to see.
edp moment
What in the EDP is going on here 💀
Ah a reference to the good ol "Ass Jumpscare"
I don’t know who’s worse here, the friend for telling him to do it or him for actually doing it.
This was the one and only time I committed the sin of doing it 😂
why would u skip the intro
This annoying apparition jumped into the discord and told me idk, I would never skip this intro
@@phanoos2187sounds like you just did
Because it's worse than the original intro
Never watched japanese game's intro it's full of spoilers
It literally doesn't represent the game at all. I haven't quite finished Royal yet, but I think I prefer the original game...
Imagine skipping any Persona intro. I would have had a meltdown
I'm sorry 😢
i skip it
The ps1 persona 2 innocent sin intro is not a persona intro so that one is fine to skip
@@arzfan29 the innocent sin intro is fire though (yikes nvm i saw the ps1 version)

to be fair, I liked persona 5’s intro more than royal’s
I can never skip this. I wanna cherish it til I stop playing persona 5 Royal or stop listening to i
I don't agree with skipping the into... BUT, it is spoiler heavy fot party members. (So is the box though.)
I dont think "who" Is important since theres no plot twist for party member
GASLIT !!!!
See if this was the original intro we would not be skipping
Of course a Kenshi Main would skip the intro.
It is an absolute crime to skip the intro that far in. If you go past the 10 s3cond mark you might as well just watch theshole thing
Why are people acting like it's a crime to skip the intro? Who cares?
Peer pressure in a nutshell
Colors flying High is peak
Also why you did something you doesn't want to do? Just because someone told you to? Why?
