Basically these kind of players were the reasons I didn't do Grand Races very often. And in some cases it forces me to play dirty myself in Grand Races (but not in a very large scale like them) to defend myself from these kind of players.

They always divebombs and weaving on straights ramming you off the road or until you missed the checkpoint

Bro, just a couple of days ago, this guy, PhilOliverHulls0, tried to ram me into the wall just like at the beginning of the video, but he either mistimed it or I boosted at just the right time so he ended up going into the wall and he rage quit because we were almost at the finish and he was in first and I was in second and we were miles ahead of everyone else. Funniest thing I've seen in a grace race.

Hot take: If the game mode doesnt have any competitive incentive such as a fully fledged rank that compares you against the rest of the world, the game mode doesn't need a ghosting system, although I for sure wouldn't mind getting one either. All we get out of Grand Races right now is just Bucks and XP, no one cares about who's the most rich or who's grinded the most ranks.
They should made a separate PvP mode where there is penalties and ghosting is available. Too many reckless actions will get you kicked out of the race instantly and you get no reward. But if you cross the finish line without racking up too many penalties you get at least 2x the reward from a regular GR. You know, a proper risk and reward style driving for this game. I can't stand being crashed out by some asswipe who basically can't drive worth a damn. They need to fix the PvP modes in Season 3 or I am uninstalling the game off my PC.
Reptilexx is pretty dirty as well. I had both Repiltexx and Qibapiang and both just ram me to death whenever I get in front of them. Daddymoneyzz is another to look out for. I just raced him and he blasted me into the ocean during a turn.

I had my time with Horizon 5 before a while ago, it was fun when the online worked. I haven't had this dirty Motorfest sort of experience in Horizon before though.
I played over 300 hours on FH3 back in the day and I have to say the public online racing was some of the worst racing that I have ever experienced in my life. It's staggering how many people can't drive worth a damn while colliding to everything they see fit, and the worst part is that I mostly be on the top podium for driving cars that is less than half of the Performance Points limit of certain classed (Fav one was my 750PI 93' 240 SX s13 that I made because of NFS: Undercover) and taking my time to race in a "Slow Car." Motorfest strangely enough have better public multiplayer but not by much. A few suggestions that adding single race PvP modes/Harsher but more rewarding GR that is separate from the normal GR/Islands around the main one gets finished and fully playable that boats and planes can be utilised A LOT more. If none of what I say make it in Season 3 soon then I am uninstalling the game completely.
Harsh reality is that people like that need to exist to keep things interesting 🫠 it makes all worthwhile when you fight back for once, and maybe a video or two out of it 😂
They need to do what Forza does and start implementing slowdown on walls. Cause these MFS need to learn. Or take collision off. Then we'll see who's really good at driving

I'm talking about MFS ramming into the wall instead of taking the turn correctly and still keeping most of their momentum. In Forza they implemented a feature that slows you speed down even after you leave the wall for a few secs

I don't want collisons off but they need to start punishing players more harshly by ramming into the wall at a considerable amount of speed and an angle. I seen some sections of GR's that people pinballing in tight S style corners and hardly lose any speed for doing that bullshit. While I am just talking the lines without any guidance or assists and relying only on my Mini-map to tell how much speed should I take the corner at. Top it off some resets still will put you ahead of the grid that is usually a sharp corner that you have to slow down or you will crash out... And get rewarded for that. If Season 3 don't fix the balance of GR's or give us another PvP mode that is more unforgiving but gives out more rewards by racing cleaning/finishing the race without the time running out on you then I am uninstalling it and playing GT6 on my PS3 full-time.
