I’ve seen this Predaking don before!! He gapped me by like 14 seconds in a grand race in the first month of Motorfest. I was utterly dumbfounded lol.
Don't worry. They all use "Wheelmode". They are cheating. Nothing special about them.

i dont know if its me, the fact im on ps5, my internet, although it seems like its working fine, but my controls feel sluggish, like moving thru tar. yesterday i hit 300mph in the porsche strassenversion, and got passed. usually i come in around top 5-10, but as usual, after the summit changes, im finishing around 15th to last. im used to the rammers and pushers, and dance around them pretty easily, as its obvious when they attempt to pull shit. ive also noticed im against players who are mostly not on ps. am i missing something? again, im usually pretty good at grand race, not a noob. any advice would be helpful
Steering on controller is sluggish by default. There are no in game settings currently that can fix that. The top 8 in this lobby are using "wheelmode" (except MG Shino, he's using a physical wheel) which I'm assuming you haven't heard of. In short, it's when the game thinks you're using a wheel when you're on controller. It's done either with 3rd party software or using some lesser known 3rd party controllers that natively register in game as a wheel. Wheel input has instant response which is why it's used. I can't give any details (cuz NDA) but season 3 of motorfest will address this issue directly. I'm not sure what the summit has to do with your grand race performance but if you're now finishing 15th to last then yeah you are missing something (and it's not wheelmode). No idea what that is since I haven't really seen how you drive.

don’t let pc players gaslight you. it is mostly wheel mode. i place top 100 times every summit event on xbox and i’ve only won a single grand race. i am always the highest placing xbox player in every one but get smoked because of how unfair wheel mode can be

I just wanna point sum out, your using wheel mode, but I also see people saying it’s cheating, its just a skill issue for them, cause I’ve raced many people using wheel mode and kept up, I’m on ps5 btw, and I win 90% of my races, so it’s surely a skill issue if they can’t keep up, and you gotta know how to tune your car for turning and stuff.
Woow dude your argument is pointless. I also win 90% of my games and using wheelmode doenst actually mean you are faster than the rest. It still requires some skill, but you will never beat anyone like Goliath when he wheelmodes. Try as hard as you want bro. They all cheat.
@@Yusuf.c1911 haha bro you said what I said just in a different context lol, but your right it still takes skill to use wheel mode, just not as much as it takes to play the game normally. With messing with your controller settings and tuning your car to be able to snap on a turn.

A better question is why would I not? You can't compete in these types of lobbies without it and these are the lobbies I'm in most of the time when I get on 😂 My grand race experience is very different than most.
