- We've added a new zoo to the channel, and it's a good one! Welcome to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro! A 2,600 acre animal haven, that's almost designed like a North American and African Safari, rather than a traditional zoo. BUT because your experience is on foot, this is considered the world's largest walk through zoological park. The North Carolina Zoo uses the space and terrain to their advantage, nearly every exhibit is MASSIVE and built within the nature of the mountainside's woods, meadows and swamps, rather than pushing nature out of the way. While you will have to do a bit of walking in between habitats, first of all, that's why you have me, and second, it's an inspiring site to see animals have so much space! This video is just a rundown of how your visit and how our tours will go. We plan on showing you the ENTIRE zoo from where you would start, to where you would finish.

This looks like such a fantastic and epic Zoo, I cannot wait to watch the first tour video of this Zoo tomorrow! Also, I just want to say I love watching your videos as they get me to see a Zoo I wouldn't be able to go to, thank you for all these tour videos!
Trust me when I say, it’s an ass load of walking lmao 😂😂 I’ve only ever been able to walk the entire thing in a day maybe once or twice.
We went to the Easter event when my kids were younger. It was really neat watching the animals tear open their eggs. I highly recommend it.
I can’t wait to see the cougars and the bobcats and I can’t wait to see the cougars because one of my paternal grandmothers aunts said that she saw a mountain lion down near her house outside of Gettysburg and I can’t wait to see bobcats because there kittens are just so cute and plus like They are so interesting to me.
I'm so excited that you got to see this one. Though I'm bummed out you weren't able to see the hamadrys baboons; that's always been my favorite exhibit
Oh man, I can't WAIT to see what will be coming our way these next two weeks! And knowing that there will be THREE new themed lands coming to the zoo, I'm more than excited!!

I have been going to this zoo my whole life. I never knew it was the worlds biggest zoo. Though the zoo limiting the selection to just North America and Africa has always made it lower on my list of zoos but I heard that there is an asian expansion coming soon!
