Orange Sky After Severe Thunderstorm

I filmed this and took the pictures of this beautiful sky just after chasing a severe thunderstorm in Northwest Indiana. As the sun was setting the sky turned a yellow orange goldishred color and the color engulfed everything. It was awesome looking. Look for the chase video footage of the storm before this sky in my videos.

it happpened to me yesterday sorry im tired but it was scary and i didnt know what to do and this is CRAZY because i have been studding thunderstorms and tornadoes for like 7 years

I've seen this sort of coloring on a mostly clear sky. There were some altocumulous clouds overhead and for the span of around 10 minutes everything turned this amazing liquid gold color. It was around 1:30 in the afternoon in the early summer.

Did anyone else notice the funnel cloud forming...I wouldn't be taking a video I would find shelter.

are you referring to 0:30 ? That wasn't a funnel cloud.
www.weather.gov/images/lot/pastevents/2014June/butterfield_annie_630.jpg This is a funnel cloud. Notice the vortex pattern. They are tornadoes that haven't touched the ground.
