- Imagine your favorite restaurant, grocery store, or farmer’s market with limited produce. That could soon be a reality. Latino truck drivers are encouraging truckers everywhere to boycott Florida in response to the state’s immigration laws.
I actually hope Desantis continues with these measures. Send more of them up here to Colorado - we've got a huge shortage of farmers and truckers up here and we don't care if you have a piece of paper or not. Let Florida go downhill while we rise to prominance.

They've been saying nobody will pick produce in Florida, but then they show boxes of produce with "product of Mexico" on the boxes. Go into any grocery store and you'll see most of the fruits and vegetables are grown in Mexico. So tell me how this new law in Florida is gonna make the vegetables picked in Mexico go up?
The thing is....yes you can import those things in, but it's going to cost you a hefty fee, they don't import in large numbers because of that....there are other sectors of their economy that the immigrants are boycotting as well, so it's too many problems to solve all at once

Those aren't going up. Look at the local production items, like oranges instead. The new workforce and conditions will rise the prices eventually. So local may become like "gourmet" stuff in fancy markets. But you'll see even more mexican boxes.

We should boycott Latino drivers for keeping load prices too low in Florida. Cheap labor is a problem itself in florida. That's why I left trucking industry. Secondly, Cheap not always better. In my own experience...I still dealing with the roof was replaced by " Cheap Latino" labor. On my end wasn't Cheap, I would say was overpriced a lot, but still didn't pass County inspection, failed two times. Company I hired trying BS its way out somehow. Don't want to fix it.
