aaah you drew my favorite bird!! they are so cute and you did such a great job! have you tried the Canson mi-teintes paper? it has two sides and the smoother side works great with both pastels and colored pencils, and its not as textured as the pastel-mat so you don't get the colored pencil powder and the smudges. i can't get over how good this looks, this is such a gorgeous piece!!!
