maybe it is a better idea to make the lace of better quality material.... completely worn within one year....

The manual for the "laces (and wrench) only" version of the kit does not include the table for the length. It just says that the new wire should match the old one (without telling you how much extra there is needed for the knot). Overall, this video is way more comprehensive and helpful than the manual. The video should be linked (e.g. QR Code) in the manual.

The shoes look cool but they break easily and it’s so difficult to get replacement parts for them. 🙄

How long is the wire for the mistral plus shoe for the upper slw2 lace?

The biggest crap I've encountered in boa shoes - fiber laces instead of plastic rope. A year of using such shoes and already two laces broke from abrasion.

Hello the cable lace on my northwave shoe broke after only 2 months. I live in vietnam. How can I fix / replace it? No one sells your shoes here.

You should look for 1mm thick synthetic (polyether or polyamide will be ok) wire in climbing gear stores. But remember that it won't last long either.

Pathetic instructions. LW2 is used in other models too. The most difficult parts are how to thread and unthread the cable, which is not even addressed either here or in the printed instructions! It took me two hours overall. 🤬

I have been searching for a decent instruction video for ages. It's mad that they don't put one up. Their customer service is not very helpful at all . What method worked for you re threading the cable?

No Allen size worked for me. Torx T6 x 2-1/2 works perfectly!
