I didn't realize you had to flip that little lever to tighten it. Was struggling just turning that dial and not getting anywhere. Now nice and tight and can walk in them properly. Doh!
OK. It is possible to change/customize the Techno-3 Push closing mechanism. The pick process in the video does work but not as easily as shown. I went to a local hardware store and bought a package of Kobalt Tools punches. 4 in a set. The tips are small enough to fit into the mechanism holes. Look for the word "PUSH" imprinted above the hole. That is the side to push from. I also used a vice to hold the shoe. It takes of alot of pressure to move those suckers. I was worried the punch would slip find my other hand. I was able to change all 4 mechanisms. Notice the push pins have grooves in 1 end. Place the other end of the pin in first when replacing. The groove is some kind of locking mechanism.
What a shit shoe. I have a pair of Carbon SRS Vernice and they are so uncomfortable and the heal lock does not work. All the screws rust inside and outside from the sweat. Can´t stretch them to make them wider as they are very narrow. Will not recommend them to anybody. They are to expensive. Stay away from SiDi shoes,
One of the benefits of this shoe not easily stretching is that it holds its form over time. Otherwise, the shoe would become as loose as a house-shoe or slipper.
Euro sizes always fit differently than American sizes.. The SIDI brand is far superior from any other brand. Go to a store that cares them and get fitted.

wait til ya gotta buy new ones!! 70 bucks to replace these stupid things, you can't replace just the lace! you need to buy the whole mechanism.

Looks like you wore them long enough, uncomfortable or not. Don't blame the shoe. One shoe doesn' twork for everybody.
