- Dear Sewing Friends, in this Sew Easy Season 2 Episode 5 - let's make a quick and easy swimsuit cover up!
Fabrics that I would use for this project - lightweight silk, linen, cotton voile, lace, rayon, embroidered fabrics with eyelets would look and feel great! I would stick with lightweight fabrics that provide cover, but are quick to dry and easy to wear and wash.

Lovely and simple. Thank you! What are your thoughts using two rows of cover stitching when attaching the elastic, rather than four rows of stitching on the sewing machine? Do you think it would give the same result or would it distort it?
Dorothy, hello there! You can totally do it, in fact I do it quite often, my only concern would be the width of the 2 rows of coverstitch vs the width of the elastic - so perhaps you want to choose elastic that's a bit narrower. :) or go twice with the coverstitch :)
Alisa, i am short waisted so most of the slacks i buy are low in the crotch. How can i fix this. Thank you. I truly enjoy your videos.
