Thank you very much for this tutorial! I made this dress and it is the one sewn by myself which I receive more complimente ever! Have you ever wondered making a written guide to this tutorial?
Loved, Loved, Loved this make so creative and yet so simple. I can see how it can be adapted for fall and winter use with a long sleeved turtle neck, and legging. Which I would make out of feather wale corduroy.
Grazie per aver pubblicato il cartamodello, nessuno lo fa mi sono iscritta al tuo canale, grazie,e per favore continua a farci vedere i tuoi progetti con il cartamodello grazie mille,mi rammarico di non averti scoperta prima
Thank you so much! I just made three dresses to wear all summer, because I like it so much. Just adjusted an additional little panel in the front, because of more bust.❤
I am going to make this next week ,if it looks good on me I will be making many of it as I have tons of material just begging to be used. Thank you for your sewing demonstration, so simple and easy to follow. Eager to see your next projects.❤❤❤
Brilliant 🥰 Thank you so much - I will definitely be making more than one of these in different fabrics. Great for wearing as housecoats to look stylish while being comfortable. I’m glad I found you and have subscribed. I love your soft voice and relaxed presentation. Best wishes to you from a Granny in Scotland X
Hi Sara, I’m a beginner, but I think I can sew this.. because of your tutorial, and it’s beautiful! 🫶🏽💕I will use linen with a cotton blend. I don’t feel comfortable using rayon yet. A new subscriber, look forward to seeing more of your tutorials. Thank you for sharing 😊🤩
Loved them both, they look beautiful, and the sewing seems simple with your explanations as always you make everything look so easy .Than you for tbese lovdly video ,ill be making me at least two one in black and the other in royal blue .❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! The amount of ease you choose for your bodice measurements largely depends on your personal preferences! Feel free to adjust the ease according to your comfort and style preferences.
I agree. For example, you could share the finished measurements across the shoulders and where the ties are added (folded flat) .. then suggest adjusting to the same width as a dress, shirt, or jacket that fits the sewist. Make the length of the ties as “waist circumference plus _____ “ instead of 46” … I suspect I would need longer ties and wider panels, but knowing the model’s height and waist size would help. Keep it simple, by using the largest of the required bust, waist, and hip measurements to help beginners avoid wasting fabric on a garment that is too small to wear.
Hi, I love this, it’s stunning. I sew quite a bit so can easily do it and have some gorgeous soft fabric. BUT it was the quick info re measuring sleeve bit etc, I can’t grasp it! I am a size 14 Uk and 5’3”..do you think your measurements at the end will be sufficient for me to use? Thank you.
In the video, I briefly explained about the measurements. To decide the width of the bodice, start by deciding where you want the sleeves to end. Then, take a measuring tape and measure from one sleeve end to the other. It's important to note that the measurements don't need to be exact, as slight variations won't significantly affect the final result.
Great simple pattern but be careful, I suggest anyone making this really consider the front panel widths. I did as suggested at 11" and the dress would be a very straight tight dress for me at size 124 UK, 168 cm tall. ( I also lengthened the dress for me) Luckily I have extra fabric and can work out new wider front panels which means drafting a new neckline. Definitely would not be as loose as shown here unless you are very thin.
It depend on the measurements you select and how you arrange your rectangular pieces. A rule of thumb for purchasing fabric is to buy 2 times the length of your preferred dress length to ensure you have enough material.
What a fantastic series of collaborations. Brilliant choice CBC. Looking forward to make more!

I love this so much!!! ❤❤❤
Beautiful dresses 👗 excellent job!
Dropping the waist ties down 4 inches for my friend with a long body. 13" seems ok for us short-waisted folks though. Using a double gauze cotton.
It’s lovely thank you. It would be helpful to have the amount of ease you allow for the garment.

Hello do you have a tutorial that shows how you gather the back ? Thank you for the dress it’s beautiful
Essas medidas são pra qual tamanho? Lindo 👏👏
This is lovely and really want to make it but how do you work out what size each piece should be using your own measurements?
In the video, I briefly explained about the measurements. To decide the width of the bodice, start by deciding where you want the sleeves to end. Then, take a measuring tape and measure from one sleeve end to the other. It's important to note that the measurements don't need to be exact, as slight variations won't significantly affect the final result.
I've created a short measurement guidelines and it's now available in the Shorts. Feel free to watch the video for reference.

For her first version, the black one, did she gather the front or has an elastic pull tie?
Amei vou fazer❤
Lindo vestido!❤
Very nice dress. Pls let me konw fabric korea size. I don't know 46". I want to make this dress.
❤
Question, how do you determine the size
I made a quick measurement guidelines and it was uploaded on Shorts and Instagram! I hope it helps you!
I don’t have Instagram. How do I access shorts ?
How many yards of fabric , is safe to buy to make this length please
It depend on the measurements you select and how you arrange your rectangular pieces. A rule of thumb for purchasing fabric is to buy 2 times the length of your preferred dress length to ensure you have enough material.
Amei ❤
What would you describe this style/silhouette as?
Wow bagus sekali Mau beli kain jahit terima kasih ❤❤❤❤❤❤
👏🏻👗
I'm thinking if making one with an invisible zip in the neckline - easily change the mood of the dress, and breastfeeding friendly!
👍👍👍👍👏👏👏✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️💪💪💪💪💪💪😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
Thank you!
Kaçbeden ? 😊😊😊
Beach cover-up and you not recommend any natural fibers fabric. Shame
You can categorize natural fabrics like linens and cottons as woven fabrics, even if I didn't explicitly mention them since it's commonly understood.
