5A will be fine with camera and dew heater. You can not just add together each devices power supply amp ratings as they will all be over specked, get a watt meter and measure the max draw to be sure and you will be surprised how little the camera when cooling actually draws and most dew heaters draw very little current. Measure stuff don't guess.

Everything on this mount seems very thought out for cable management other than having the power and hand controller in the front. Would be interested in hearing about that. While I’m not planning on purchasing this mount, I just want to wrap my head around how that works w/cable snags. I don’t think having the usb hub at the front is too much of an issue for my personal setup at least.

I do love my CQ350 but both my 10" reflector and 5" refractor can run into the tripod legs when pointing near the zenith. Something to keep an eye out for if you get one.

Hello and thanks for your nice video. I just want to ask you if it is possible to insert a QHY Polemaster on the front of the frame, in that sort of circular cap. Another thing: how many Kiloes max payload for astrophotography?

Hi there - can someone make a video of how they operate the powerbox/power hub system with cabling connections in this mount. There is 0 information available.
    Thanks in advance!

One con I noticed right away, unless it wasn't mentioned is there does not appear to be an accessory tray. I use mine on my EQ6 alot so I would miss it.

Hi Paul, Yes, the "Spreader bar" that I mention is in fact an accessory tray for eyepieces or even to lay your hand controller if need be.

For polar alignment, you recommend Sharpcap but it is only for Windows. I use Mac. What alternative do you recommend?

Im curious in this mount. I have a Losmandy G11G with 60lb payload. The +10lb payload isnt that much of selling point to me, but the quality of life features like through mount power and cable management are what have my attention. The performance is going to be a huge factor. Right now, Im still on the fence.

Hi Mazzif, I am also VERY curious about the performance of the mount. Hopefully here soon we have a few clear nights. I'm eager to test it out but I have no doubt it will be able to support my 10" newt with ease AND with good results.

can you operate it with the declination axis running 180deg from the way you show so the ports are at the back? What about side by side saddle where you will need the dec axis 90deg from normal, is this achievable also? Should be.

Why Skywatcher really hate us that live under the 10-degree latitude though? 😅
