Hey, I was 31 in 97 to, it took me a very long time to grow up, I actually do like this bands, my face is “HEAVY”. I never want to grow up, I had a young teenage son who kept me up to date with all these great bands, no really! I’m a 50 something yr old kid!!!!!!!
I watched these guys in Indiana a couple days ago. Watching this video is like the same concert, amazing. Great sound on this video, I'm listening through Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Professional Studio Monitor Headphones and it's like being there again. Thanks so much for posting this video. All those guys are amazing.
Although I believe that the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame is a shame - Collective Soul absolutely belongs in it!!! The most consistent band in rock! With most of their original members - or a good number of them!!!
THANK YOU COLLECTIVE SOUL, for taking me along for the most fantastic lifesaving sonic security space in my P.T.S.D. High functioning Aspergers world . Love ya guys. Jason.
Siempre me arrepentiré de no haberlos podido ver. Sinceramente son mas que buena música y letras. Inspiran y motivan. Gracias por subir este hermoso concierto. Larga vida a CS. Bendiciones a todos.
Just went back and watched a CS show I went to over a decade ago and they’re just as good here if not better. Ed’s energy is contagious. So cool to see him moving around the way he does.
something about their music just sets them apart, very likeable band also. saw them on the same tour at the exhibition in my city. one of my concert highlights forsure, ive been to many.
Absolutely awesome, only got to see them once in1999 at crown casino in Melbourne, Australia. Hopefully get back to the states and see them again. Thanks for sharing this, excellent quality, just like being there.
Love!! 🫶 .. was fortunate to see this show in Calgary. Wow!! Fricken amazing guys! Collective Soul from here to Eternity ♾️ is right 🤘. Thank you for the incredible post 😎
I saw these guys in 1999 when I was 17, the summer after I graduated high school. They've still got it. Good to see they've not succumbed to arthritis, as I have 😂😂
Liked when Joel Kosche was the guitarist for CS. Not that Jesse isn’t as good but I liked Joel’s stage presence and the way he played certain songs (Better Now)
I came here to see what their set list would look like. 🤣 I haven’t been to a show in 13 years and finally get to see them again in 2 weeks. 🤗 I hope there’s not “golden seats” at the show I’m going to. 😂 Thanks for the video.
The last time I saw them was when they opened for Van Halen back in 1995 I think. I finally get to see them again next week and I’m very excited. It is going to be awesome
Great show as always but you guys need to cut back on the backing track usage for Heavy. It should be played like it used to be played - for such a killer song, musically it was a hot mess at this show. Love you always though.
omg dean messed up so many times on compliment hahahah…. but i’m not making fun. just seemed like he got carried away with the music and stopped paying attention, which we all do. \m/\m/
Always liked this band, but I have to be honest, his voice doesn't sound that good to me. Their guitar player is a replacement from Ross Childress who came up with the guitar riffs that made the songs sound great. Their shows are under an hour and a half? I just saw Yes, Ringo Starr, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani and they all played at least an hour and 50 minutes. I was actually getting ready to buy a ticket for last Wednesday's show in Indiana and decided not to go after seeing this video.
I Love Collective Soul… but this is Definitely not their best performance. Guitarist shanking parts, drummer seems to be playing a whole different song at times. And how do you Start a song (Better Now) and only do the instrumental break and quit? Weird performance imo
Wow I'm surprised their guitar tones sound so weak. You would think a band that's been around this long would have the capability of matching tones of albums that they've put out in the past. Considering all of the awesome guitar equipment that is out nowadays. And then there's the bass player doing Harmony vocals that are not harmonizing he's way out of key. But I guess that's what you get when you fire your original bandmates. And now you just got guys that you hired for money that don't really care about the music and it shows.

Collective Soul music has totally stood the test of time.

What do you use to capture audio? It sounds absolutely amazing.
14:40 is what you're here for and it's glorious!!!!!!!
🙂Thank you for posting this show!!
Collective soul a awesome group I remember in 1997, when I was 31❤

60 is not really that old
Today is his birthday.
Superb quality. Collective Soul has never failed to deliver.

thanks for putting this up! Great Band, Great Songs, perfect Vocal Harmonies. Loving them for years. Superb Audio Quality.
OMG this is amazing!! So stoked to hear it straight from the soundboard. As a guitarist, it is so cool to hear the tones this close up! :D
Indeed, it certainly is.
Many miss that fact, it's much nicer with headphones.
Awesome group I remember in 1997, when I was 31

They are unique in the World of rock

Great! Besides the great singer, who else is an original member? Super thanks!
Ed (singer) Dean (rhythm guitar and Ed's little brother) and Will (bass). Had a couple different drummers and lead guitarists. Still sound amazing.
Thanks for saving me the money to see it live
Go catch them live if possible.
Good video. Still no comparison with being this close live. Saw them about a week after this show, front and center. Absolutely amazing.
Thank you for uploading. Solid sound and video.
These guys sound great 👍

🎸🎸🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Is that Ed on guitar,!dosent look like him😊
Kick ass
Whats the audio gear Mr. Outman?
Ed’s voice is golden here
Ed feeds off the crowd, the more involved and responsive the crowd is the more of ed you get
That drummer doesn't do anything fancy but holy crap his timing is amazing.
Still on June 2024
was the place half empty or close to empty?
Great show as always but you guys need to cut back on the backing track usage for Heavy. It should be played like it used to be played - for such a killer song, musically it was a hot mess at this show. Love you always though.
Like a crazy train 🚂
Ed's voice has not aged at all!
What was this recorded on?
Forgive my ignorance, but what is the title of the first song of this show?
Cut the Cord
@@benlangston3323 Thanks!
@@benlangston3323Love this song as much, if not more, than Shine. Feels like blasphemy to say that. 😂
All of us, in some way , how many does anyone know?
What's it all about !
Ed sure knows how to get the audience
Where is Ross?
He was fired 2 decades ago 😂
I think they are awesome, I never miss a chance to watch Ed Roland he is so sexy.

REM? SUPERRRRRRRRR
He said Collective Slow 😂
My God surely not the Original Lead Singer? That was Shocking. Maybe Bad Audio?
