Insym: *surprised Pikachu face*
ok?
True xD
Can’t wait to watch this at work, in a school, alone, when I’m already convinced that every shift of the building is a person.
I work in a haunted school at night. Always on edge
@@FPS_Wingo how is it haunted?
@@FPS_Wingo yeah how is it haunted????
My husband was a security guard at a casino, and he was trained to use proper force and take down methods. He was also trained to use pepper spray and a taser. The police would be notified of a disturbance if it was a crime happening and security would take action immediately to protect customers and property. Once the person/criminal/drunk was safely constrained, the police came and took the report and made the arrest.
“Grab your gun, this is an American school right?”
Me: how could you say something so offensive but so true?
I love the fact that you zoom in on your face in the first part of the video.
It’s my fav part! Haha 😂
is called the preview
I was a security guard for a Pharmaceutical company and all we could do was call our communications team who would then proceed to call the local police department. We could ask people to leave but we were not allowed to use force and were not allowed to arrest people.
Unarmed security exists entirely for insurance purposes.
im a security guard now and this is so true. people seem to belive we have some power but we really dont lol

FUN FACT
In Brazil any civilian is permitted by the law to arrest someone if they witness a crime, which means even a 90 year old grandpa can tell you that you're under arrest!
citizen's arrest isn't uncommon
In the United States you can do that too, but it also allows them to sue you. So it's better to just call police or report it.

Theres one at 1:12:10 that kinda spooked me, where he found the pig head and fool tarrot card :P
If there's one thing I learned from being a guard, is that the teenagers that lean towards troublemaking will go FAR out of their way to vandalize property for little to no reason.
High school built in the 1960’s in North America have such flooring in their gymnasium. They are varnished and polished in order to avoid splinters.
This was my first video of Insym I have ever watched when he was at about half a million subscribers, best channel I have stumbled upon accidently after typing "horror game" with literally any creepy location which was a school in this case, the excitement is indescribable, really. Thanks for reading
@10:25 "If you're home alone, you can just say I don't wanna be here and leave. But if you're the security guard, you HAVE to be there." This is true, but if your home is spooky, you have to go back eventually. As the security guard, I can finish my shift and say "Feck this sh** I'm out". Or even just quit midway through.
Additionally, leaving the key in the bus because he had to leave quickly for something, in WHAT world does walking out into the woods and finding a random bus to put a key into constitute being "in a hurry"?
LOL. I was a building guard in a creepy former church converted to music building. I knew where every piano was in the building then one day piano music started playing. I checked all the pianos and no one was there. I wasn't getting paid enough for any more than that so I just put my headphones on sat back down at the desk and went back to doing my homework.
Lol, I'm a guard too, and one time a coworker left the keys in an unsecure place so he could leave early, and after we checked the cameras we saw they were almost immediately stolen. This is a hotel, and we had the master key to all guests rooms, so several thousand in guests belongings were stolen. Maintenance had to disable the master key as well as replace several normal locks. They made the guard pay for damages, replacements, and the guests belongings.
“Is that someone outside” Report anomaly outside!🤣
Insym taking me back to middle school when everyone called me Jee-off haha
In the United States, arrest powers for security varies wildly by state. In my state of South Carolina, we have the same powers and authority as a deputy sheriff, however we only have jurisdiction on the properties we are contracted to work.
Literally one of my favorite indie games of all time!! I’m so glad you got to play this! Viktor can be pretty terrifying lol. You should give Death Bloom a try. It’s made by the same guy (Vincent Lade)
It's funny because the character could have just left the school, there are windows everywhere. No security job is worth being murdered over.
Omg I have never gotten so scared watching someone play horror games insym has major guts
50:02: At my school, every single bathroom is closed/locked because kids keep vandalizing them.
So many fellow security guards in here
About your security guard comments at the beginning: I'm a guard(USA) and we(and civilians) are allowed to perform a citizens arrest when we "directly observe" a misdemeanor or have "reasonable belief" they committed a felony. However, in America this can allow the offender to sue you, so 90% of guards won't do it for misdemeanors unless specifically specified in the contract between agency and client, which will usually require the client to cover legal fees, so they don't do it often. We're also told to absolutely avoid people you know have a weapon.
It may not seem like much, but we're pretty much mobile cameras to act as a deterrent and act as a reliable witness for information police can't get from cameras due to their stationary and often low quality nature. Plus, our presence does actually deter most small time crimes and reassures customers and staff.
Also, when staff doesn't want to deal with crackhead Kenny smearing himself with shit on the street corner again, they send Security.
Edit: Forgot to mention that performing a citizens arrest can also open both the client and agency to litigation, so often contracts will specifically request that guards NOT directly intervene with criminals. Though if it comes down to life and death situations it depends on the person. Generally we're asked to observe as much information as possible for police and to not add ourselves to the body count.
Its so funny that I got a security guard training ad right in the middle of this.
My first gym was wooded like this, but it was lacquered and the such, so no splinter risk.
"I am become the wall, breaker of games"
"give us a quote" - a quote is an estimate of how much a job would cost to accomplish.
5:13 At my school, each door has their own number and only certain ones have actual words on the door besides "ROOM A####", like "Electrical" for example
All the downstair rooms are A10## while all the downstairs are A20##
Though there are 4 pods which you can use to help navigate where a class is. Two are downstairs (French Pod + English Pod) and two are upstairs (Math Pod + Social Studies Pod)
It looks a bit like a the Northern Rockies, Pacific Northwest maybe. Very mountainous.
1:25 - I'm getting immediate Firewatch vibes.
we used to have a wooden floors in our gyms too - its all really well polished and maintained so there's no splinter/sliver hazard
Woah! I remember Treasure Planet Racing! Wasn't it like a 3 game series or something? Man, core memory unlocked.
1:32:46 "That's why you don't bring a sickle to a gunfight." 😎🔫
Not sure if you’re interested or not Insym but you should definitely give the Witches House a look and see if it’s a game you’d want to stream. Definitely a really well made horror game in an rpg style.
Yeeess. I recommended that in another video as well. Along with "Misao" and possibly "Ao Oni". ~
funny thing about security guards, in most cases we're paid and treated like absolute shit, so when creepy shit starts happening yeah we're supposed to be there, but then again it's very easy to say "I get paid less than the guy that fucked up my big mac, it ain't worth it."
In America, every citizen has the right to enact citizens arrest if they observe someone committing a violent crime or other felony. Laws about use of force vary from state to state and jurisdiction to jurisdiction. In my state, Missouri, we have what’s called the “castle doctrine” (your home is your castle) and stand your ground laws and can use any level of force necessary, up to and including deadly force, to defend my home and property without a duty to attempt to retreat. In the state that my wife was born in, Massachusetts, they have a duty to retreat; which means that a citizen must seek every avenue possible to escape a situation like that before they are justified in the use of force. That is the beauty of America to me, you can choose where to live based on the political and legal atmosphere that you feel most comfortable with. One of the major reasons that I moved to Missouri was because I wanted to be somewhere that was more sympathetic to my political views and morals, among a myriad of other reasons that I prefer this state to my home state of Pennsylvania. I’m not the kind of person who outsourced the protection of my family to a police force with no duty to protect my family (something the Supreme Court of the US has upheld many times, the police are investigators, not bodyguards). I also don’t think that people who are not comfortable with that should be forced to do it.
"Grab your gun this is an American school right?" God i love this man
Lmao dark humor, approved by a certified American
just got my wisdom teeth out and i have binged so many of ur videos
the burglars suing the ppl they steal from is also happening in Spain hahaha
"PRINCIPLE" Greg Anderson....
God damn it....
Sometimes there are large doors that are used for moving equipment like fume hoods for chemistry classes or large kitchen appliances.
Security guard mean you are a smart alarm you don't have any other authorities
Anything suspicious happens you call the police
Insym: scared out of his mind
twitch chat: booba!!!!
I remember Treasure Planet Racing. I got the disk out of a McDonald's kids meal. I think. I'm not 100% sure but I think so. I still have the paper disk case is came in. Not like hard plastic but the paper looking kind. Freaking crazy how long ago that was.
Nearly every school gym in the US - floorboards with about 3 inches of lacquer on top (it seems) and buffed to a high shine.
Insym - Don't you get splinters?
💀
Classrooms had numbers but all the other rooms had names: janitors closet, principles office, etc.
That was amazing! Just the right amount of spooky with mystery.
My man survived geting shot in the head, it seems art gives power to people.
Idk how most schools do it but I remember in my high school it was pretty large so each room had one letter at the beginning corisponding to location of room, then like 3 numbers, so like C112 would obviously stand for classroom then 112, so since you know it’s a C you know where to walk to then you just look at the numbers to find the right room
my secondary school (i'm british but if i am correct secondary school here is equivalent to high school in the US) does a letter then 2 numbers, the letter tells you what block it is in (there's H, C, M, E, S, L, T, B, and A) the first number corresponds to the floor it is on (0 for ground floor, 1 for second floor, and 2 for third floor which is only applicable to the H and M blocks.) and the 2nd number is the classroom number (which is only from 1-9)
examples:
S16 = 2nd floor S-Block in Classroom 6.
M01 = 1st floor M-Block in Classroom 1.
H23 = 3rd floor H-Block in Classroom 3.
Some of the blocks dont go all the way up to 9, e.g., L-Block which only has 2 classrooms on both floors, ground floor E-Block also only has 2 classrooms due to the library being on the ground floor of the E-Block, taking up most of the space on that floor.
My school was so tiny that the rooms had the teachers names over the doorway or beside it
Anyone else notice that there were 4 stall doors open when he went back to the bathroom (52:32)
5:24 my high school only had a tiny plaque next to the door to show what room it was, but the class rooms just had the teacher's name on the plaque. i accidentally missed a class on my first day, because two of the teachers at that school were married and shared a last name.
April: gets pissed off when she gets called security and safety dispatcher instead of april, Also April: good luck new guy
Literally I was watching this home alone at night
I attended an old Catholic School that was built in circa 1949 until they tore it down and moved us all to a new place in 1993... It wasn't quite this place, but it was similar in many ways
"grab your gun, this is an American school right?" fucking got me good man
Every school I went to had wood, one small school even had carpet
When I was in school there was only numbers. NOW working there they have since I graduated years ago put up either the teachers names or the class type on the side so students can see from either side
I can't unsee it but you look like walmart Johnny Knoxville at some angles
love your vids
Holy damn Winter Break 1994 would have been my senior year of high school...
Sounds scary and IM HERE FOR IT
insym's face when screaming is muah chefs kiss
I really love your videos and I couldn't wait to see u getting 500k subs! :D
There was a newspaper earlier in the story about someone that robbed a military armory, you were talking about it being an inside job.
not me covering my eyes at 50:43😂
:) Victor giving me Stefano Valentini vibes - you should play The Evil Within 2 and examine more murder Art! XD
The Dev's misspelled "inquiry" in the newspaper. Lol.
This is one of my favourite indie games to play. The developer has made a few other games as well and they're all really good. Really hoping Harthorn can be made into a trilogy as I found the story to be fascinating. If you get a chance, you should play The Swine by the same developer (Vincent Lade). It is quite the chilling tale.
1:16:17 that aged well...
A game I'd recommend is the evil within series, the first game looks gross and I hope it gets remade but you most likely heard of the series it's just great.
I think a problem with the window at the bottom of the walls are that the devs didn't account for the backface occlusion, so you see right through them from behind the window's mesh
Seeing Insym walk past ammo several times is painful
But looking at the Cages now i bet he locked the Janitor down there aswell until he killed them which what we heard was probably not in the Gym but in the Basement trying to make some noise hoping someone would hear it
I've had a gym like that, all my gyms were, in about the same condition too lol and yes definitetly splinters.
6:45 why do you gotta do us like that man. T-T
I had an art professor in college that made sculptures out of dead birds. I don't think he was a murderer though ...
48:14 Our teacher room had a big fridge, some couches, a vending machine, microwave, etc. The teachers would let the students that they liked in there so they could heat up their lunch.
41:30 there was that one case where a girl slid across the floor, and a board came up under her as she was sliding. Watch at your own risk.
I smashed like on this video when you asked me to. The like button worked.
2:14 Wait a second, the clock is on 12:06... Eric Andre reference?
The music in the beginning gave me strong Dead by Daylight vibes…. It sounded like a piano version of the main theme
slick reminder to like the video xD
I love your content it's always so much fun to watch. Have you ever played " Condemned criminal origins "?. I'd like to see you play that game becasue it totally falls in line with what you play!. Thank you for all your hard work and videos!.
I remember in the Phasmo easter challenge with only eating eggs i said that maybe the light switch is outside of the room, and you can see that in this video 😅
You forgot to double tap. Always double tap.
This game was sick!
Its an Medic Ball no Basketball my dear Insym :P
Every school I’ve gone to has boarded floors
Not sure if you're going to see this but regardimg the security guard legitimacy to tackle burglar without being sued by them. Not sure about the US but here in Brazil the state itself can sue for doing that and that's if you are lucky because there are plenty of "human rights" groups who will try and sue you in "honor" of the "victim"...
40:59 my middle school gym was like that, though it had a small layer of some clear thing (I don't remember what it was) on top of the wood
Varnish?
@@조호윤-b9k idk probably
Make sense because wood only wouldn't be able to sustain for years, unless it's the expensive one
LOL Yeah that's definitely an American school. Our gym floors are wood like that yeah, but normally they're sealed with a thick coat of varnish.
i swear he had a quick system reset on that "access denied" XD 47:02
The way he fell tho? XD 1:32:22
TREASURE PLANET TREASURE RACING! I freaking LOVED that game! I whooped everyones butt
Love all of your contents! keep up the good work ! 😁
at 11:46 we hear a noise i though for a sec it was the jack in the box from lethal comming at him xD i have been playing to much of lethal the pass months xD
Awesome game!
Hell yeah , Another creepy games , keep it up insym!
LOL my high school basketball coach was also named Price
Isn’t an inefficient patrol route good? If you just follow the same route every single time and take the same amount of time each run through, then isn’t that enough of a pattern for sussy criminals to take advantage of?
You should try playing Spirit Hunter : Death Mark. It's one of the scariest games I've ever played, has great reviews, and an amazing story + art style.
Clip the part where you stepped on the pressure plate. lol
Security guards at the most can't attack someone but they can restrain a suspect (unless they're a mall security guard in which case they seriously can't do anything but follow someone and say they are breaking laws LOL)
I work at a hospital and security there *is* allowed to restrain people, but a hospital is a special case considering there are a wide range of age groups and my hospital does have a behavioral health ward.
Security is not law enforcement so the most they can do, i'd assume, is restrain an aggressor but if someone is not being aggressive i assume they cannot do anything unless it is in self-defense. it's really weird how powerless they actually are.
