I'm a parent and I tell my kids to not open the window too! When you have kids you get a whole hoard of these DUMB fears. The fear of your little one magicaly flying out the window being one of them. Sigh...

The trick is to guide them, not drag them. If you have to threaten them or order them around, they will want to rebel. If you explain why something isn't a good idea, they'll be more careful and think about their choices before they make them. Work smarter, not harder.

Right away I recognized Ben’s voice, it’s Casey Mongillo, he plays Shinji Ikari! Boy, even after nearly 30 years he still sounds the same!

This story seems to be loosely based on the true story behind the film "Lorenzo's Oil." In that case, a child was sick with a form of leukodystrophy. The doctors said that he only had a few years to live and his parents actually developed a treatment for his condition. He lived to be 30 and the treatment is literally made with olive and rapeseed (Canola) oil. The whole thing about protecting myelin is real. The oil works best in people who have not yet developed symptoms. The movie is really interesting. It explains how it all works. But in that version of the story, no innocent people were killed, so it's not quite as dramatic. LOL
My hometown is featured in that movie.
This is one of my favorite horror games! I went in with ZERO expectations for this game and loved it and it's quirks. I'm so happy you played this and enjoyed it too, Insym
This flat out is the realist feeling Home Invasion game and the voice acting is really good and I love it. Also Playing as a kid makes more sense in context because what you gunna do, like really?

What an amazing game. As Insym said at one point, this game doesn't joke around, and it isn't afraid to show scenes which could traumatize a kid. Also salute to Big Guy, he the OG. As always, a lovely gameplay by Insym
The antelope guy's filter keeps reminding me of the sink baby and radio host from P.T. and I can't tell if I'm more creeped out or confused.

Big guys tend to have even bigger hearts. What he did to the father was wrong, but I also understand why he did what he did. Like that one guy who robbed a bank, but gave all of the money he stole to the homeless. Robbing the bank was wrong, but at least the money went to the people that needed it the most.

On thing I like that some stealth games cheat for the player is they wont turn around if you're right behind them and in some games they soft rotate to keep you in the middle of their back. Unless alerted by something. It stops it from being upsetting for the player who wants to move behind the looker.
Other then that, fixed patrol or easy to avoid hiding spots all over the place as in Alien Iso that soft cheats and knows the area you're in but not the location and thanks to hiding spots all over it lets the player be safe even when the alien is up in their busyness all the time.

Rule #1: never IMMEDIATELY HIDE nearby where you are spotted. LOL

When a story comes full circle this was good.
1000% better game then the majority of these hollow triple A games. Made with passion and not littered with greedy micro transactions or half ass plots. Good on the DEVS!!

duuuude, at the point where the burly old guy comes and you get the option to 1: save sister, 2: push the killers, you choose option 3: duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh..? it was obviously a quick-time event xD as much as i do hate them, they aren't hard to spot

Your gameplay was kind of triggering towards the end lol. But i enjoyed watching the gameplay for the most part. Story was interesting. I personally found the sister to be fairly annoying, but i do enjoy the "sneaky" escape type of game. They should have made it a little easier to be sneaky though i agree.

8:12 how on earth are all of the road carpets everywhere the same. i had exactly this one, with the church bottom left and the roundabout at the same location. Just how. Was there a road capet Mafia that made only these layouts and sold them around the world.
Sometimes i question how these games always have a very particular message. Always the same bad guy does cartoonishly bad stuff and good people are always super innocent people like kids so no moral questions are faced. Oh and the fucked up crazy people are crazy and murder people. Really nice

@@derinduygu8920 there is no such thing as a story without moral questions. By avoiding contrevesy it ends up painting a distorted view of crime, mental illness, and class conflict. You cant avoid this when making a game about events that happen in real life. You will always end up making a statement on thess topics, and it will always lead moral questions raised. Esp if ur character is deciding the fate of these individuals. If the game rewards the villain and killed kids it wouldnt sell, but if villians just were too stupidly evil no one would feel imersed in ur game.

Characters that are right behind you and are in your vision.. do not see you and activate the beating thing. But one that doesn't see you and is on top or below you.. instantly knows where you go lol.
