Part of the reason it is two movies is because they are not cutting any of the songs. They are also adding some story from the book.
Four new songs as well as as a cut song from the musical.
Yeah, they cut out the whole second half. Gonna suck to wait a year for it (if part 1 as good as it seems it will be).
I just saw my first musical 4 weeks ago it was the wicked world tour (in australia atm) and i found myself crying in parts. Overwhelmed by emotion and adored the show. Watching this trailer brought it all back i think they are going to do a phenomenal job staying to the story and the script and this may be one of the biggest movies ever made

It is waaaaay to hard to pick a favorite part from the trailer, honestly. I will say my favorite song (or one of my favorite, cuz let's be real the entire score is 10 out of 10) is No Good Deed, but unfortunately I'll have to wait for part 2 for that. 😭😅 from first part 🤔 What Is This Feeling, is the one I am most interested to see and hear from the movie standpoint
