Mahindra introduces the XUV 3XO, a facelifted XUV300 with a redesigned front, dual-tone alloy wheels, and unique LED lights.
Retaining its predecessor's mechanics, the 3XO offers 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines with manual and AMT transmissions.
The new XO nomenclature is expected to extend to other facelifted XUV models, including the XUV700 and XUV500.
Scheduled for a global debut on April 29, the Mahindra 3XO presents an enticing option in the compact SUV segment.
Mahindra 3XO: Mahindra has recently teased the facelift XUV300 which is named Mahindra 3XO. The automaker has announced that the facelifted compact SUV will make its global debut on 29 April. Retaining the mechanicals, the Mahindra XUV3XO will come with an all-new design language. The new XO nomenclature is expected to be followed by the automaker for the upcoming facelifted XUV range including the existing Mahindra XUV700 and the upcoming Mahindra XUV500. If you are planning to buy a new compact SUV shortly, the 3X0 can be a good option for you. Check out features and other details related to the sub-compact SUV below.
The teased images of the upcoming facelift reveal that it will come with a completely redesigned front look. The new additions will include a split headlamp setup, circular fog lights, LED projector headlights, L-shaped LED DRLs, and a diamond pattern grille. Apart from this, the Mahindra 3XO will arrive with dual-tone alloy wheels, a yellow paint scheme, C-shaped LED tail lights, connected LED lights on the tailgate and the all-new ‘XUV 3XO badging at the back.
The upcoming 2024 Mahindra XUV300 will come with a unique touchscreen infotainment system which is expected to be 10.25 inches. The facelifted SUV may also feature a fully digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the SUV will come with a new upholstery, new AC vents and a tweaked console.
Mahindra 3XO Engine and Transmission
The facelifted compact SUV is expected to retain the mechanicals of its predecessor. Reportedly, the new 3XO will come equipped with the same 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both these engine options come paired with a six-speed manual and AMT units. Apart from these transmission options, the automaker is also expected to introduce 6-speed torque converter unit also in the upcoming compact SUV.

Current Petrol Punch has bad brake,no six air bags in base variant. Exter has much much better engine, six air bags in base variant, better brakes. Why should anyone be recommended with Punch?
@@amodb5 but punch is no. 1 selling cars in India, people only buy good product..when you sit in punch you feel like suv due high seat position, elevated bonnet..You just google " Top 25 selling cars in India march 2024"..Exter is not like suv its seating position is low like i10.. Only roof tall like wagon r but seat low like hatchback, thats why nobody buying exter..

As per him crash tests are waste. Stopped watching him long back.
Crash test are done at a speed of 60-65 km/hr, whereas mosy accidents happen at much higher speeds which these NCAP test don't depict

Carguru has half knowlegde about lots of thing, recently saying belero neo is taxi car not family. Why would mahindra introduce 2 car with same name for taxi, well normal belero for commerical purpose and belero neo for family.. Neo design is also modern .. According to carguru wagon r is also bad car but people buying in good number, he did not updated his knoweledge about new wagon r, which is wider then old one, also its ground clearence is reduced for planted ride..

Torque above 200 NM is at what RPM? If the torque is not at lower end of RPM, then it may not be as punchy.

We are a small family and my budget would be around 16-17 Lakh max and I need good features in the vehicle. My driving will not be must as I am in IT and get the opportunity to work from home. However I love to go for long drive and I enjoy driving a lot on long trips.
I am looking for few things as MUST HAVE in the SUV is : AT gearbox, Ground Clearance must be decent, Safety 5 start and should have decent mileage.
1. Sedan vs SUV/Compact SUV : please suggest the name of the vehicle ?
2. Kushaq/Tigun or Mahindra 3XO ?
3. Shall I go for any strong Hybrid ? If yes which one.

Till 3XO doesn’t give boot space, it can never beat Nexon. After spending 10-15 lakh a respectable boot space is must. Otherwise updates are gimmicks. On gearbox AISIN is owned by Toyota, so it will be good.
