Longevity matters … 4-5-6 years down the line I don’t think any Indian car maker remains as refine as Maruti and Hyundai… scared of Tata and Mahindra due to this lone reason.

The biggest problem with curve is that the Hyperion engine is unproven. It's a very new engine and its record is unknown. On the top of that, we know that Tata does not has a very good record with making petrol engines. So trusting a new engine from Tata is difficult. The revotron engine although it is a an old engine, it is not good enough for a premium segment car. As we have seen in Nexon that it vibrates like a tractor.
When he said creta reliability, i laugh hard 😂, we have faced issues with electronics and there are many creta fire issues because of its faulty electronics. Creta diesel also has lots of problems with DPF and blockage of fuel pump and they have to use urea unlike Curvv diesel which use a different technology.
To be honest, every car sold in India, whether it’s Indian or foreign brand are facing issues, but at least it’s the Creta that faces lesser issues compare to Tata. You are a rare customer.
Space and practicality- Better boot space in Curvv but better second row experience in Creta. Safety- No need for an explanation. While both vehicles latest models hasn't been crash tested, curvv is basically an elongated Nexon, a 5 star rated vehicle while Creta's prefacelift (which shouldn't differ much) is 3 stars. Though both are well loaded with safety features. Engine- 1.Diesel: Diesel of both vehicles are pretty on par with each other. Petrol- Not even close, compare the 1.2 Revetron to 1.5 NA or 1.2 TGDI to 1.5 GDI creta, Creta leads in petrol engines in terms of overall performance, refinement and milege. Tata yet has to improve their petrol engines. Service experience and Reliability- Service experience is a very subjective topic but overall, it is seen that Hyundai offers better service and customer satisfaction compared to tata. Its a mix bag for tata where some places have solid service experience while horrendous in the others. While the koreans aren't the pinnacle of Reliable engineering, Tata pales in comparison to Hyundai interms of reliability. Premium products of both vehicles face niggles but the numbers in Tatas is alot more. Rusting issues, very early breakdowns, numerous software glitches etc. Recently, new Harrier broke down 4 times on delivery day which is absolutely embarrassing. Don't listen to online keyboard warriors and PR agents, test drive both, find out the service experience in your area, and take the vehicle that suits your needs. Avoid regrets.

Bhai Motor Octane is doing a fabulous job by objectively comparing a lot of parameters, some of which have very high practical utility. It has removed the bias and subjectivity out of car comparisons. A lot of reviewers have certain bias towards certain brands. Motor Octane has removed that scope of bias from its reviews by giving measurements of lot of small things. I liked the rear seat space leg room comparison by measuring with a tape and the decibel measuring of noise inside the cabin. Now it is not about what the reviewer feels. You guys actually show and back it up with actual numbers. I have become a fan of Motor Octane. Looking forward to more such comparisons
Some points you missed One Curvv has hydraulic glovebox opening which is costlier. 2nd, curvv diesel doesn't need adblue which is clearly indicates low maintenance, whereas creta diesel needs Adblue. 3rd, curvv has 15000 kms service interval, creta has 10000 kms interval.
1. Creta has a better engine - 1.5 turbo petrol and 1.5 Refined Deisel. 2. Creta is more reliable. 3. Creta has better resale value. 4. Interiors don't rattle in creta. 5. Hyundai has better service centers. The only thing Creta should improve is that the outside body metal sheet should be slightly more thick.

my dad purchased a creta sx(o) turbo automatic dct. we have gotten 1k km on it, and have so far not faced any issues. the infotainment system is very user friendly, even the app is very user friendly and overall i think that the creta was more focused to being a family car, whilst the curvv was focused on being a budget - feature loaded car. in my opinion, id go for the creta, even if the price remained the same, because of the dashing looks and interior. tata is also known for the breakdowns, so i would not go for the curvv

Problem is majority of Tata fanboys dont even own a car they are just influenced by the 'tata ka loha' rhetoric. While people who have actually driven and owned these vehicles know the reliability of creta and brezza via a vis Tata cars.😊 If budget is 14 lakh brezza(myself being the owner), if 18.5 lakh then creta. For bigger engine I would always prefer my s11 Scorpio.

Just the quality of sales assistance tells how the future experience is going to be. Their cars look great, the paid saftey rating (no car can get a 5 star unless they send top model and sponsor the test) also is fine for people who prefer safety. But that’s where story ends. Reality is Tata is sourcing most of its tech from JLR, which as a brand is also know for extremely faulty cars and poor quality control. Harrier is using an engine from Fiat and transmission from Hyundai, that’s what you get for a premium 25L car what a joke. I respect Mahindra more, they atleast make their own stuff and are a solid on engine options and transmission.
I sat in curvv in the showroom. Front seats are quite comfortable but backseats seem to be having little legroom and for 3 people it will be a congested experience.
Giving curvv 8/10 on rear seat is a joke It should be 5/10 Worst headroom in the segment, legroom is below average and roof lining design due to coupe is very bad

My friend recently bought the Tata curve, top model diesel, we did not like the car because the interior is very small almost similar to the nexon and doesn’t feel new and the sunroof positioning is very bad. The front of the sunroof starts behind the drivers head and the ends a little too soon before reaching the rare passenger, I drove it. The engine is very rough, not at all fun. Panel gaps are very evident on the exterior as well as in the interior. To be honest, the only good thing about this car is that it looks kind of new and fresh on the road. But still looks like a toy to me.

Bro you missed out highlighting that the curvv sunroof edge is not fully panaromic... Creta's sunroof goes above the head of the rear passenger. The edge of the carved head room gives claustrophobic feeling in curvv

Add points like - owner's experience, QA, fit n finish, maintenance (cost & ASS & ASC experience), company support. I bet hyundai has better in all of it on most times. Tata has fit n finish issues, QA issues, bad ownership experience, and what not (even in cars like Safari which cost over 30 lakhs. See teambhp, you will understand).
Some RUclipsrs are just cashing in by hating on Curvv, this (from what I've seen on the internet till now) is the most straightforward and clear review. I'm not a Tata fanboy but the hate this car is getting from these other reviewers is just crazy, seems to be some sort of targeted campaign.
It’s personal gain. They do paid campaigns and to get views on those videos - they trash other cars that are non-paid. This way - they force other car manufacturers to also pay to them and also gain people sympathy that they are honest and people will watch all their videos this way.
The real question that needs to be answered is whether Creta NA is better than Curvv 1.2 GDI because they will be in the same price bracket. Creta 1.5 turbo is far more powerful but also more expensive so there is no point in comparing it with Curvv GDI.

Effects will be seen in 5-6 months, two months are too short to judge. Punch did not reach at top in just 2 months nor did Creta.

kaar di na gawaro wali baat, it took 6-8 months for cars like punch to be there in #1 for the first 6 months of the year, Creata took around 5-7 years and last or last second month it made it to #1....Kya baat bolte ho bhai 2 mahine seriously !!!!

my dad purchased a creta sx(o) turbo automatic dct. we have gotten 1k km on it, and have so far not faced any issues. the infotainment system is very user friendly, even the app is very user friendly and overall i think that the creta was more focused to being a family car, whilst the curvv was focused on being a budget - feature loaded car. in my opinion, id go for the creta, even if the price remained the same, because of the dashing looks and interior. tata is also known for the breakdowns, so i would not go for the curvv

Anyday Creta... Then Breeza ..Tata's car has lots of technical and mechanical issues plus service is extremely poor... Fit and finish are also not good.. Also big difference on engine 1.5L of creta
Problem is majority of Tata fanboys dont even own a car they are just influenced by the 'tata ka loha' rhetoric. While people who have actually driven and owned these vehicles know the reliability of creta and brezza via a vis Tata cars.😊 If budget is 14 lakh brezza(myself being the owner), if 18.5 lakh then creta. For bigger engine I would always prefer my s11 Scorpio.

Their cars look great, the paid saftey rating (no car can get a 5 star unless they send top model and sponsor the test) also is fine for people who prefer safety. But that’s where story ends.
Reality is Tata is sourcing most of its tech from JLR, which as a brand is also know for extremely faulty cars and poor quality control. Harrier is using an engine from Fiat and transmission from Hyundai, that’s what you get for a premium 25L car what a joke.
I respect Mahindra more, they atleast make their own stuff and are a solid on engine options and transmission.
I sat in curvv in the showroom. Front seats are quite comfortable but backseats seem to be having little legroom and for 3 people it will be a congested experience.

My friend recently bought the Tata curve, top model diesel, we did not like the car because the interior is very small almost similar to the nexon and doesn’t feel new and the sunroof positioning is very bad. The front of the sunroof starts behind the drivers head and the ends a little too soon before reaching the rare passenger, I drove it. The engine is very rough, not at all fun. Panel gaps are very evident on the exterior as well as in the interior. To be honest, the only good thing about this car is that it looks kind of new and fresh on the road. But still looks like a toy to me.
Exactly.. My height is 6ft nd 4 me rear seat is of no use. And even sitting at driving sit is not at all good.. Coz car is not fun to drive.

Bro you missed out highlighting that the curvv sunroof edge is not fully panaromic... Creta's sunroof goes above the head of the rear passenger. The edge of the carved head room gives claustrophobic feeling in curvv

I think you should have also compared the safety aspects as well, like how most of tata cars have a 5 star NCAP ratings
Add points like - owner's experience, QA, fit n finish, maintenance (cost & ASS & ASC experience), company support. I bet hyundai has better in all of it on most times.
Tata has fit n finish issues, QA issues, bad ownership experience, and what not (even in cars like Safari which cost over 30 lakhs. See teambhp, you will understand).
How to add owners experience for a car that is just launched?
Some RUclipsrs are just cashing in by hating on Curvv, this (from what I've seen on the internet till now) is the most straightforward and clear review. I'm not a Tata fanboy but the hate this car is getting from these other reviewers is just crazy, seems to be some sort of targeted campaign.
It’s personal gain. They do paid campaigns and to get views on those videos - they trash other cars that are non-paid. This way - they force other car manufacturers to also pay to them and also gain people sympathy that they are honest and people will watch all their videos this way.

The real question that needs to be answered is whether Creta NA is better than Curvv 1.2 GDI because they will be in the same price bracket. Creta 1.5 turbo is far more powerful but also more expensive so there is no point in comparing it with Curvv GDI.
