    That piano skeleton is so cool Is this custom made or did you buy them?

    • @disparky
      @disparky  2 года назад +2

      Bought the kids piano on Amazon and the skeleton at Spirit Halloween. Cut the arm off, mounted on a servo pan/tilt kit with another servo for the wrist.

    Where's RoboHead this year? Also what do you use to program servos?

    • @disparky

      Robo Head is off to the side out of camera. For programming I use PCMACS software from Gilderfluke along with a SER-DMX controller for most of the servos.

      Oh, I'm glad he's still there this year! Also thanks so much for the servo program! I've been looking for one for about a year almost now!

      The PCMACS software requires a registration USB dongle that runs $700. It's worth it if you do heavy animation and want a higher end result. See Gilderfluke.com for products and prices. The PCMACS software will work with most USB-DMX modules but I found the UltraDMX Micro from DMX King works the best. After you have both of those, you can use any DMX controlled unit out there from DMX relay boards, dmx controlled servo boards, light fixtures, smoke machines, projectors, video players, etc.. There are other high end animation controllers out there which I also use. One in particular is by Weigl Systems called a 'ProCommander'. I use software called ConductorPro to Program the ProCommander. There's a registration fee of between $215 and $2,000 depending on the features you want with ConductorPro. You can find the product list and prices on Weiglworks.com. Both the Gilderfluke and Weigl systems are used in high end animatronics at theme parks around the world but can also be used for home displays as well.

      I'm will to pay high high prices in the future, thanks a lot! I hope to get to programming servos sometime in the future.
