Hey what’s the name of the switch? High pressure switch?

This is a really bad video, he left out so many very important steps, I would be amazed if the compressor lasts more than a few weeks/months. If you have a "bad" compressor, there is a good chance there is metal in the system, it is a good idea to remove the front grill and remove the orifice tube which has a filter and inspect for metal flakes. If metal is present the system needs to be cleaned and replaced (especially the accumulator). The HT6 compressor is constructed using 4 housing pieces stacked without the benefit, of dowel pins and can be ruined if the mounting surface is uneven (check by installing compressor without bolts and checking for rocking) could be dirt on surface, warped bracket, burrs on new compressor mounting surface, etc. You must torque to proper spec (making your funny click noise does not work) You must have the proper amount of oil in the system (8 oz in this truck) this can be difficult because you don't know how much oil remains in the system (another reason to replace the accumulator). Factory manual recommends capturing all the oil from the old compressor and accumulator measure it and replace that amount. You must evacuate the system with a vacuum pump to remove moisture. If you do not install compressor properly, you can smoke the new compressor, waste the freon. Also if you don't service properly, you will only get cool air, you want your AC to put out 55 degrees.
