I live in Texas - our favorite winter activity is building a fire in our fire pit in the back yard and hanging out with our dogs by the fire - with a little spike coffee or drink. Happy Sunday! Great show!
My favourite activity in winter is to be around the bonfire with family. Telling stories of when we were younger. The kids love it too
Winter activity? Hmm..... Eating! I love turkey stew and dumplings. The weather in the UK, especially in the south is usually just grey, wet and cold. When we get snow everything comes to a halt. Glad you had a happy birthday xxx
My favorite activity in the winter is to stay inside the house and read and sew. I have a huge yard so spend a lot of time outside
the rest of the year. Winter is definitely a respite!

I live in South Florida with not much of a winter. I grew up in California and started ice skating age 8 at a mom and pop ice skating rink in the Mojave Dessert, an hr north of LA and now 71. I can still stand up and skate...no jumps anymore!

Hi Sara & Danny. Baglady from NC here. My favorite color has always been pale pink since my late husband gave me pale pink roses on our first Valentine's day together 36 years ago. I save almost all my scraps. My favorite winter activity is staying home with a cozy fire I'm the fireplace watching movies.

Bag Lady, my favorite color is acid green! I am a scrap quilter and I save every little scrap-1 1/2" square and 3/4 th" strip and lots of odd shapes, too! My favorite winter activity is to watch football and sew, of course
I live in the desert of Southern Arizona and Winter is our reward for living through 110+ summers. My favorite outdoor Winter activity is hiking our wonderful deserts and mountains. I usually combine the outdoor Winter activity with my favorite indoor Winter activity which is knitting. I love your bags for carrying my knitting projects on my hikes. I’ve been dying to make a cork bag, so keeping my fingers crossed for the win!

My favorite winter activity is attending the Road to California Quilt Show. The quilts are beautiful and the vendors have the latest patterns and fabrics.
My favorite activity in the wintertime is baking cinnamon rolls. I associate this particular pastry with winter weather and I love the smell in my kitchen and eating s warm roll in a cold night always brings a smile.
My favourite winter activity is walking around the coast of the island I live on with my children watching the wintry waves crashing against the rocks, then walking back through the woods and picking up pine cones to put on the fire.

It's usually too cold this time of year for outdoor activities but 4-wheeling with sleds and riding snow machines are definite favorites of mine. I didnt see my postcard in the video, but was happy to see one Alaska postcard that made the journey :)
Hi, bag lady from Sweden here! I love talking walks in the snow during winter, the snow have a way of muting sounds which I love. I also like to watch my kids sledding, that makes me happy!

My favorite winter activity is to watch my grandchildren play in the snow making a snowman, sledding, snow angels and snowball fights.
As a child I loved building snow forts. Now, as an adult, I enjoy it from indoors!
I am, by nature, not a very active person. My joys are sewing, reading and cooking. I do love when the weather starts getting cold because I can make lots of different soups and stews.

My favourite winter activity is crafting, which admittedly is very similar to my other-seasons activity! Also, as winters are not too cold here (I haven't seen a snowflake in years), going for a long walk to enjoy the fresh air and come back home to a delicious cup of tea ☕ and possibly a cookie too ;) 🍪
Favorite winter activity would have to be bird watching. My husband buys huge bags of seed and we keep the bird feeders full every day. He also keeps several hummingbird feeders warmed during the day so we can watch them close to the house. The Anna’s hummingbird spends winters here on the West Coast of B.C. and they are feisty little things, with beautiful colors.
My favorite activity in the winter is skiing but, if I can’t do that, then it’s sitting on the couch, knitting and watching Netflix!
Hi Sara and Danny, bag lady here. My favorite winter activity is giving myself an extra hour in bed to snuggle under the covers. Normally I wake at 6am and get up then. In the winter I wake at 6am but stay in bed until 7am. I use the time, after my devotional, to just check out whatever is going on. Fun research and lookups. Then I get up at 7am and my day begins. I’m not a very good sleeper so I actually have to force myself to stay in bed until 6am usually.
My favorite winter activity is watching the Boston Bruins play hockey. Now, if only I had NESN on my TV I could do that regularly.
My favorite winter activity is snuggling by a fire, with a good book, a great cup of coffee, my husband and dogs next to me! That or shoveling snow. There is something so rewarding about shoveling snow, I love it.

My favorite winter activity is shoveling the driveway after it snows. We live in WA and it doesn't snow very much. I do our elderly neighbors first so my kids can sled down our steep driveway. 😁🧣🧤🌨☃️

I love to go hiking in the mountains in the winter. We have a lot of fog in the vally but up in the mountains there’s usually sun shining.

My most favorite winter activity is snowboarding 🏂. Been doing it since I was a teen.
My favorite winter activity is getting a huge warm blanket cuddling into it, getting a hot cup of mocha, sitting in front of the window and watching the cold snow falling outside while I am warm and comfy inside, hahaha. I don't have air conditioning, so while I always have grand plans to get things done during summer break, I never do. Winter is when I don't mind having a pile of fabric on my lap while sewing, so I tend to get more done.

Favorite colors are greens and pinks as well. And during football season, red and black. Lol. During the winter I still sew quite a bit but I crochet a lot more. My crochet projects tend to be big and heavy and warm which is ya great during our 110 degree summers but perfect for our mild winter.

My favorite winter activity is to go to visit a state where there is some snow. I can enjoy it for a few weeks then go back to south Texas where it is warm.
I love riding Luke, my horse in the cold weather, as he get really frisky and I love it when the steam blows throw his nostrils.
Hi Sara, my favorite winter activity is going to the beach ( I live in Florida ), before we moved here 2 yrs ago my fav activity was sewing. Now I sew in the hot summer. That cork is gorgeous, BTW!!
My favorite winter activity used to be sledding. Haven't done it in a long time but I would have to say that is still my all time favorite winter activity. Especially the hot chocolate and a warm fire afterward.

My winter activity is of course sewing and learning new patterns however I do like Hallmark movies and I love to watch When Calls the Heart.
I save almost everything, the smallest pieces are used as stuffing.
My favorite winter activity is visiting my daughter in Denver and going to a ski resort.
I keep all scraps. The really small ones get stuffed into yoga bolsters and cat beds. I’m collecting piles of 3 1/2”, 2”, 2 1/2” and 1 1/2” squares. Will use for a scrappy quilt and for scrappy log cabin block centers. Zipper tabs a great idea too! (saw that in another comment.)
Fave Winter Activity: If it snows in the south (Atlanta to be exact), the whole city shuts down! We play in it and snuggle up to stay warm and watch movies :) If only we had a working fireplace... sigh... Hoping for snow in Cleveland this Christmas when visiting the boyfriend's family :)
Since I love in Phoenix, winter activities are anything outside while the weather is cool. Walking, hiking, yard work, etc. My fingers are crossed for the cork! Thank you

Winter Activity - I’ve always lived in the south (San Diego and Dallas/Ft worth area) so when it’s really winter cold, like 60, I like to stay in and be crafty, watch your videos and make bags‼️

Back when I was a kid, I would think nothing of riding my horse for hours in the snowy hills behind our house in the Yakima Valley. Now that I am in western Tennessee, it’s mostly muddy and I don’t particularly like riding in the mud. So, I sew. 😊
Also, my favorite color is blue or any sort of blue/green. For scraps I save anything from about a two inch square or an inch wide strip on up. I like to do some paper piecing and also improv piecing and the small bits are great for those.
