      I actually found that the various series of Aman from chessbrah are better to build systematic positional thinking. Danya is great no doubt, but better for higher level chess. Better for players above 2000 imho

    This is the secret sauce! The methods you demonstrated for deflecting the knight on f6 were extremely instructive. I already had a game where I was able to implement the knight hop to d5 and won quickly after that. Thank you for providing the best and most enjoyable chess content out there.

    You’re my favorite RUclipsr by far and I’ve learned more about chess from you than anyone else on this planet.
    Some feedback : the majority of your demographic is in the 1400-1700 rating range and it’s been over a year since we’ve gotten any content from this range. Please spend most of your time in here (even if that means lowering your rating once you get to 1800)

    It’s really the small moves like Qc4 that win the game. Squeezing out as many potential tactics from each tempo as possible. That pin on f7 was huge later in the game.

    I have one weird request. If an opportunity comes would you please play with 2 rooks against the Queen. I’ve just never been able to withstand the onslaught of the Queen in such situations. Tyvm

      If the 2 rooks are connected and have much potential to attack the king or grab pawns they are usually better than the queen

    Just an idea - what if you played bullet games (1+0) without explanation... and then after the game is done, then you can explain how your instincts caused you to play the moves that you play. I think bullet would fully ensure that you're playing with instincts only and not too much deliberation - and I would really be keen to learn how your mind works in such quick time controls.

    Does the samisch setup also works against the hippo defenses? I have the feeling that these c3 lines make it quite easy for black to equalise

    re: intro - I nearly won a game against a chess expert from the St. Louis Chess Club but I lost because I didn't consider the King's escape route. Opponent made a huge blunder and had I thought about that I would've won. Considering the King's escape route is so important!

    Why is it that the d2 knight often ends up in g3 and not e3 after f1? It feels like after the knight is at g3 its squares are restricted by the g pawn
