      @@Angel-y5u8b One would think that's the case, but if a former respected world champion (who defended the title for many years) accuses you, even if the accusation is completely nonsense like in this case, it will take a toll on you.

    Hi Daniel, I have been watching your videos for about 2 months now. I am rated 1200 and your videos have helped me in many ways:
    1. I have started playing 1.e4 (in addition to 1.d4) as I feel more confident with it now
    2. I play the Sicilian accelerated dragon
    3. I now play the Danish and Smith morra gambits comfortably
    4. I play alapin against the Sicilian and have a good win rate with it
    5. I have learned to play against the Englund gambit
    6. I can now play the nimzo indian and queens indian
    These speedruns are gems and better than many paid courses I have taken. Thanks for putting up all the wonderful content!!

    4:56 after f3 you didn't even bother calculate something like Nxe4 and after that Qh4+. Is there some way to immediately see a tactic like this doesn't work?

    • @bastoura52
      @bastoura52 17 часов назад

      Well against the damiano defense the sac doesn't work if the d pawn was pushed (Ke7 to not give up the rook and you're not getting checkmated) so you basically reverse the colors and add some more pieces, and also notice white has the nice f1 square for their king as well, sure looks meh but it does feel really hard for black to justify the loss of a piece if they can't guarantee a checkmate, so objectively it's not a great idea to sac it here (although Danya would probably crush the opponent anyway)

    • @bastoura52
      @bastoura52 17 часов назад +1

      After checking the engine, it seems like the sac is justified, although it prefers to go to d2 with the king* which indeed looks safer than f1, but anyway, why bother with dangerous tactical lines you can mess up easily when you have a strong, sound and clean positionnal approach

Your chess skills, character and education is truly second to none and are a huge reason that i’ve been able to push for my current rating and the reason i want to improve.
    but
    PLEASE PLEASE PLESE don’t use AI art which your thumbnail obviously is. There are so many other ways of going about this. if you don’t wanna commission an artist i understand it can be expensive but a simple picture of you even would be better than this AI nonsense. I already see it everywhere these days i just wanted express how much it disappointed me to see it on your channel

      @ it’s trained entirely on real artists art without permission credit or compensation. is ruining the market for real artists to find jobs when it was already hard enough. it’s bad for the environment as training the ai is an extremely energy intensive process. and even if one image may not be the most tolling normalizing it by putting it in a thumbnail helps the agenda where companies can get away with using AI where ever possible to cut costs(yes i’m aware danya isn’t a corporation).
      it just isn’t a very morally sound process and i do think danya is above that.
