Hi, nice model there. I was tempted to get this one but was put off when I read on 1zu160 forum that some complained of the updated Hercules with Next 18 interface had rattling sounds either from the body's shell or the bogies. Fortunately looks like you got a solid one out of the factory. This model sold out fairly quickly so suspect Fleischmann did a small run of these.
First time in a long time I've not had to return a new loco. I've had to return many this year due to poor manufacturing and quality control my friend. Thanks for taking time to post on my video and have a great weekend. Dave B
@@ngauging Hi, the quality and control issues is becoming a bit tedious these days. Had the first Fleischmann OeBB Vectron with sound for a while and maybe run for about 30 hours max and the other week and it starting slowing down, something seriously wrong so stopped it; found bodyshell was warm and chassis very warm. Further investigation took the motor out and found micro debris of metal, a disintegrated bearing ... From what I have seen in the spare part sheets the newer Vectrons from Fleischmann now use cardan shafts, so suspect there is maybe a design problem with the older Vectrons. Anyhow have a great weekend too.
