- In this chatty video I wanted to try and make my own jelly gel polishes with resin dyes and it worked! Looks like we can save ourselves some money and make any color of jelly gel polish we want and we can add glitter or magnetic powders in them too! The sky is the limit!!
I also just wanted to take a few minutes to talk about HEMA free products as well as HPMA, TPO and HEA. HPMA is the second leading ingredient to cause allergic reactions in nail products and is what is added in place of HEMA in most HEMA free products. I just wanted to bring a few things to attention on this because I feel like a lot of people don't know this. In a lot of cases (not all) someone who is allergic to HEMA will either be allergic OR develop an allergy to HPMA, there is also TPO which is another ingredient that can cause allergies in nail products. AND did you know that HEMA can be in monomers as well!? Its best in my opinion to use regular polish or nail lacquer on anyone who does have a HEMA allergy. Please do a little reading on all of this just to be informed and have the knowledge because these allergies can be GNARLY and extremely painful and there is a lot of information on this.

Thankyou for sharing I'm a newbie at creating my own Press on nails and love that ur sharing ur ideas and experienced skills with us also just a tip if u use a large nail clipper to cut small applicator tips off like the resin dye tips u won't get as much snap like the scissors helps alot especially with super glue 😅 😂

When I first got into wanting to learn to do nails my sweet hubby found me this thing online that is called a Pottle, it’s the name of the brand as well and it’s empty nail bottle/pots that are made just for you making your own custom polishes. It’s pretty neat ❤

Yeah I tried to correct myself but I get so tongue tied saying it lol
hydroxypropyl and hydroxyethyl are the 2 that are hard for me to remember how to say right lol
