I witnessed the reentry from Carrabelle in the FL panhandle. Incredible sight. I didn’t know it was coming just lucked into seeing it from about 150 miles. Huge long glowing tail miles long (?)

Before the hatch is opened, the main thought going through the crews minds must be, "Get us the hell out of this tin can", "Someone farted in all the excitement of reentry".

What type of communication device are they using exactly? There seems to be an incongruity with the audio samples (digital received tones) from control center, yet the ship appears to have scrabbled VFH/UHF distinct background ray (white noise) which doesn't occur in digital platforms... UFH/VFH doesn't communicate with digital systems, unless ridiculous effort was put in to converting/adapting the two different technology types together, which would seem redundant and silly... can anyone who knows anything about this explain what type of systems they are using to communicate with each other?
Also, sidenote... what's up with the searchlight ship appearing to aimlessly wave the spotlight all around in every direction OTHER THAN the capsules location for a few minutes, then appears to repeat a cycle of aiming in three specific directions in the sky (space) - is there some other reasoning for this, because it didn't aid in illuminating the capsule at all (capsule was already in the water + the main spot lamp doesn't appear to have any issues with focusing in one spot).

How can we have such cooperation and harmony between genders, between countries on the ISS; yet, such discord between these groups on earth ? Something is just not adding up for me. 🇺🇸🖖🌎

Because they're all in the same room. Increase the population a little bit, and then tribalism starts.... everyone starts sticking together and arguments/fights begin... Generally, everyone behaves in such small groups... give it some size, and there you go. Chaos.

@@APR1125 interesting, if I had to guess it was because they all depended on each other to accomplish something bigger than themselves. You took the sociological approach, good thinking.

Just so you know, the ocean is littered with 6 huge parachutes and 1 capsule door every return mission.
    That's pathetic.
