What I love about Meg is that she isn’t afraid to be “Too Much”, too dark, too intense, to angry, to loud, too weird. I feel like so many of us mask and try to package ourselves so we sell better, and she just seems to be like an authentic force of nature. She gives me courage.

2 books behind her in particular: one is on Nirvana, the other one on Tori Amos. This sums it all. Feels like an updated 90s artist, with all the talent that so many bands or singers are not so gifted with while being so much more successful than Meg... (alas)

This extremely talented woman is creating better music with a beat up guitar on the floor of her home, than most people can do with a full studio.

If it triggers an emotional response, she will craft the words to give a face to the experience. You simply can not compare us mortals to her time in this real studio. All the buttons, filters , mixers etc just steal energy from the reason we make music.
Super sad the album lyrics was changed from "who says angels cant be rebels." That line is gold.
I love how she abruptly shifts into chill mode between songs, as if we didn't just experience a dizzying emotional journey.
So phenomenal. Seriously, I don't know if people even realize the level of talent.

I’m a gay man but I’m like in love with her. Lol It is to so exciting to see a musician with a bright radio friendly sound who’s still true to their dark and alternative roots. She’s so sinister and sweet at the same time. Truly a gift to us all, especially in the current musical era.

This version of any way you wanna love is so much better than the album version. She managed to turn what is honestly one of her weakest tracks into one of her best simply by sitting in the floor with a guitar and singing it differently
For some reason, all of her live stuff is better than the studio. These are the definitive version of these songs to me.

Nothing special about her voice, nothing unique in her looks or/and performance (maybe that ring in her nose makes her a bit unpleasant to look at, but that's "personal") . An average female singer, among many thousands, with an average song. It's OK, every note is played out as it is supposed to be played, and that's it - not bad, yet nothing to be amazed with. Meg Myers is Magic. I’m constantly listening to her music. The new EP’s are incredible. Take Me To The Disco is a very special album for me. I waited and waited for Meg’s debut album Sorry. Well worth the wait. I’m a devoted fan. What would we do with Meg Myers in our ears? I am so thankful she exists. Magic. My ears feed my soul.
She is magic! I'm so happy to know her. All the times that I spent with her and her family when she was younger. I can tell you even at 12 years old she would sit there on the couch playing the guitar and singing with her distinct voice, I always knew it was different and great. I'm so thankful for the memories I have with her. It's exciting that she has fan like you 💓

Just went to spotify and heard the official version, man, this acoustic version is a million times better, not because of the style of music but because there is so much beauty in your interpretation that does not come across in the official version.

This woman is pure and amazing, so honest and vulnerable when she sings. I feel everything within her vocals. I feel everything within her expressions. It is overwhelming, but at the same time liberating. There is no person quite as unique as Meg Myers.
The more I listen to Meg the more I'm getting sure she's the best. The most emotional female vocal. It's hard to enjoy music for real when you become older but she can return me to the 90-s or 2000-s and gives me the same feeling I felt when the time was better, when music was better and when my life seemed to be interesting.

Sometimes her singing voice gets shrillish and unpleasant, but I have nothing but mad respect for someone so clearly expressing themselves through their art. What's insane is she's in her own world when she performs. She's just purely herself, kind of like a kid when they don't change anything about how they act whether they're alone or being watched by everyone. Haven't seen anything like this in a long time.

Meg Myers is one of my daily listens since her first album released. She’s raw, powerful, dark, and the intensity and passion always burns through. She’s not afraid to play with her voice and I love every bit of it. So glad she’s been making these quarantine vids. I feel very fortunate. Meg Myers, Highly Suspect, and Alt-j are basically all I’ve listened to for the last couple years. No regrets.

She’s my dream girl for sure.. Iv been listening to her for about 8 years now and have been in love with her and her music since the first time I heard it. Her talent is off the charts, and she sings true to herself and her own life/experiences where so many can relate.

I totally agree. The totality of both make them one of the strongest contender for Album (EPs) of the year in my book. I tend to gravitate toward pretty heavy and dark music, but Meg Myers is therapy and my sanctuary in a otherwise complicated and bleak life.

I feel soo connected to hear, just an awesome woman with an amazing voice.
Wow...I discovered her while in the gym earlier today when "Any Way You Wanna Love" came on. The beat, voice, percussion hit me like a ton of bricks in the best way music can. I got home, searched everything I could to discover her talent. I have since learned "AWYWL" on guitar which is so dynamic and inviting that even a man's voice can create with it. Meg Myers is one of "those gifts" you find every so often that the present fun and tomorrow a bit more enticing. Awesome!
