• Her Songs aren't generic derivatives
• Emotion Drips from every lyric
• Her music contains real instruments
• When she wears a guitar, she plays the guitar
• She moves like she just don't care!
It's a bass but she does play guitar too so half points ;)
And she plays piano
I just wish the studio version of her songs used less production and more of the real/raw sounding "real" instruments she uses live.

The tone of her voice is magic.
I often say that I miss the time when I grew up most in music (the 80s & 90s), when artists still sounded like themselves, authentic, & original (not auto-tuned & the same). It made them all special & killer in their own way. She still embraces that today & I love it. She’s absolutely awesome, still sounds exactly like herself from the recorded versions when live, & she truly rocks. I dig it so much. 💜😎

What a timeless beauty. The kinda music that gets me by.
Her songs always seem to have a great vocally driven melodic hook that sticks with you after you hear it. Most artists these days are lucky to have one or two songs like that. Her voice haunts me in a very good way and resonates with some part of me that I can't really explain. It makes me wonder if others “get it" bc this girl is fire. As a drummer, I would kill to be in a band with her, playing this music.......which is kind of odd, bc I don't normally play stuff like this. Lol

God damn that’s the truth. Her song Desire woke me out of my sleep, I had a station playing in the background, and I was hooked. I stayed awake just to listen to the song and find out who she was. Every album and every song is good. That’s it’s not something I can say easily about every artist that I love. She sounds just as good live as she does on her albums which is rare for anyone.
She is a highly underrated artist. But I have a feeling she likes it that way.
She goes off into her own world when she performs and the audience gets to witness such vulnerable beauty. Love Meg!

I usually listen to metal, Megan has something special for sure I might just be geeking out but I love how she presents herself and the type of songs she makes. Seeing her play bass while performing is already something that adds a lot for me in a performance as most "pop" songs are just playback etc. That's something that makes her music beyond just "pop" for me. Also I died at 5:56 so... that's also a thing.

Same here, I usually listen to metal, like In Flames or KSE, but when I hear Meg, it gives me the exact same feeling as metal does. I think it's because we love listening to pure, raw talent. Not these filtered, autotuned, watered down music. We love to hear the passion in the artists we listen to, with real instruments, and metal has the biggest lineup of passionate artists who, quite literally, scream out their emotions, and sure enough, Meg does this as well, her voice and her screams are filled with emotion, and I'm loving it!!🤘🏾

I've heard of her for awhile, but I only discovered Meg in March 2020. I've since listened / watched most everything I've found online and I must say she is a rare gem. I don't doubt that her name will be synonymous with the likes of Lisa Gerrard, Stevie Nicks, Patti Smith, Liz Fraser. I look forward to seeing Meg perform.

Wow! What a true artist! Incredible performance here! I stumbled on this by hearing "Running Up That Hill" in a store somewhere and now I'm an ultra fan! The intensity is off the charts! How is this angel's talent not being recognized more? Such a rare treat now days to hear/see someone that knows actual music, can read and write it, play multiple instruments, and blessed with a unique voice. I hope Meg reads these or sees this b/c she deserves much praise here.

Great song and the fact that she gives it her all when singing just adds to it! Even with the remake of "Running Up That Hill", she gives it her all and adds dimension and a certain otherworldliness to the track.

Most artist try and sing lower or they won't try and scream for fear of sounding bad. Even when her voice is cracking she puts everything into it. She drops little hints and warning signs. There's no love in what?

Meg serves the SONGS when she performs, and she does not care if she sounds or looks "pretty". It's such a counterpoint that in fact her voice, face, and body are beautiful.
She cares about her art more than the money she makes from her talent. And she suffers from severe anxiety. Her song Numb describes how she felt when she was with a record label that wanted to tell her everything they wanted, and ignore what she wanted. We want Meg as who she is, it's much more attractive than any cookie cutter pop star.
