And here it is ladies and gentlemen. The first prospecting video for Klesh. Awesome to see how far you've come. But I think the most important thing everyone is missing is how do those glasses not fall off his head while DIGGING for gold! 😄 Edit 9:02 samsquanch and family casually strolling thru the wilderness
Fist panning experience was at Clear Creek Co. I stopped near sunset with nothing and started rock hounding. It was only when I go home did I realize I had found gold.
Sometimes you’ve gotta go back to the start! Brilliant stuff, Shane!
Hi Shane. I was up at Clear Creek Canyon on Sunday at Tunnel 1. What a beautiful place.
That whole rock side starting about 13:00 and especially 15:17, looks like huge chunks of gold...
I want to try the Deckers area, one of these days, huge boulders, dry creek beds and lots of black sand and crevices!!
Thanks for the video!!!
Thanks man!! Appreciate ya!!
In Walmart's automotive area,i found course nylon bristle brushes. They are very durable and look like strong tooth brushes. I used them in my lab when i was de-plating silver off of Silver plated items. I think those would work very nicely for you in the shallower crevices.
Good Idea GreatScott! Thanks for watching!
Awesome hunting! Keep at it! Thanks for sharing
THanks PioneerPauly, glad you liked it. atb -KG
very cool seems like you just can get away from people lol always hikers and people
At about 14:00 wouldn't those holes have gold? If that rock is as old as it looks it would seem that the gold would just fall in there and get trapped
Yeah it's possible!
Great video......great panning skills. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! atb -KG
Glad I found your channel... made a helluva discovery this last week in central CO...16 pieces/ 8 rubies(emeralds, idk). Gold wasn't large enough to collect with my current gear, but kept the other rocks. Hoping to make it back b4 the snows hit (2wd vehicle only :( )
Nice!
So much bed rock! I don't have bedrock in my local creeks
Thanks Ful-O-Gold for watching!
@charles hedberg I'll take false bedrock, a couple million years is all it takes for a lot of gold to accumulate! Thanks for the comment and for watching!
Why don’t you use a brush to get into the cracks also?
I need a real thin brush for that, I think an ice scraper brush might work? Thanks for watching!
Hey dude, Dope video! I was just talking to a buddy today about crevicing and how I dont even notice the opportunities to do so because I am so fixated on other methods. I am in Westminster, hitting up clear creek very regular like. If you are looking for some partners in crime my buddy and I are down for some team work. I am also a guitar player and musician so good job on the licks!! lol.
Seth thanks for the good words. I have a very sporadic schedule so I get out when I can. It's usually spur of the moment but would definitely like to have some partners in crime on the rivers or mountains. If you see me around come say hi. Thanks for watching!
Question, after you got as much dirt out of the crevice as you could by digging could flush water through and catch the material that flows out with your pan? Would that get you possible gold at the bottom?
jlen82 that is a really good point and the answer is yes, however the smaller crevices might be difficult to get your pan in. You would need some type of sucking mechanism like a giant syringe, or whatever they are called. They sell them at prospecting supply stores. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching! ATB-KG
Thanks for the reply , I have never done any gold prospecting just love the videos. When I was watch I thought of it and thought I'd ask. Keep up the great videos!
That was a cool waterfall to snipe
Yeah it was
I've been finding some good color in Coker Creek in Tennessee
Thanks for watching!
nice video! looks like did some of the editing
Haha this was my first prospecting video I think
It’s much better now. 😂
Great video , thank's for sharing :)
Sure and thanks for watching
you've gotta detect those big rocks that look like quartz hybrids with gold, get a metal detector gold bug or something dude, you could be walking over it, like dinosaur gold, why not drill out some quartz rock samples and get them tested too?
I would but don't have a drill for that, maybe in the future I will thanks for watching!
put on snorkel and look in swimming hole prob lots of jewelry and old coins..:) nice instructionals and hope you find nice nugget in future.
Thomas, thanks for the suggestion! I do plan on snorkeling that swimming hole (and other real popular ones near Boulder) in the near future. Thanks for watching! atb -KG
3rd time love it watching you makes me want to do it so bad
The biggest gold rush in Colorado since 59 was the draining of Berkeley lake.
really? I need to look into that, I live right next to Berkeley lake...
@@BrandtM84 I can't even put into words how amazing that lake was. But I'm not talking about gold dust LOL in less than two months I had over a hundred forty vintage gold rings plus all the other killer stuff.
@@diggingthewest7981 you gotta be kidding me!! 140 gold rings?! I'm speechless. That is a lot of rings to find, I wonder why they were in the lake? You made a haul Digging!
@@BrandtM84 the original swim Beach from the turn of the century was about 3 ft deepand loaded with awesome rings was a lot of work though. Got old guns, old coins, crackerjack metal toys, a few rare antique bottles and even artillery haha
how did you get across to the other side of the water?
have to walk up to the bridge, then cross, then hike back
Where do you park along clear creek to get to the best spots?
Anywhere there's a pull off really
Hi, great vid. What is your crevice tool made from and can I buy one commercially?
Rob I replied to your comment in my most recent video Searching a Charred Colorado Mountainside. Thanks for watching!
Hey Klesh I do this with a 2 gallon wet vac and Honda EU1000i gen. Much faster and thorough. And really productive on river bottom bedrock. Peace
Interesting rig, wonder if it's comparable to my vacuum rig?
Yes good suction. Picks up small nuggets and coins easily. Also you can run a 100 foot cord from the Honda to keep exhaust away from you. I'm not a fan of breathing exhaust.
Nice
i forgot to ask is that hook tool homemade?
I purchased it at the local prospecting shop but I think you can find them on Amazon.
you got that at Bill's didn't you lol
Am from jeff wilams camp but ur kikin but...good work...gold gold gold
Couple of things I've noticedI really enjoy them first of all let me say that second of all I get brushes from harbor freight the soft nylon tips for crevicing and you might want to use the grass that you pull out of these crevices because they're like a naturalfilter to catch cold I'd love to bulshit with you I'm fairly positive I know you in person well at least your face is very familiar horrible with names but I never forget a face
It’s possible I live in Golden Colorado, but have lived in 14 different states between the military and guitar schools
hey bud , brake that bed rock !!! gold is hiding under it. ha . nice video but slim pickens, time to come back to norcal.
Nice day for gold digging Stop by and say hello Hoppy Prospecting
Certainly will, subscribed. Nice video today careful walking across those logs ha ha!

Annoying repetitive guitar in the background made this difficult to watch.. once past that - very nice video
Matt - I agree LOL. This was one of my first movies while learning to edit. My more recent videos have a better format and I don't over use the annoying guitars! Thanks for watching! atb -KG
BACKGROUND MUSIC SUCKS & IS TO LOUD !!!!!
