sir can you please tell if there is a very small gap between end crown of a bridge and adjacent tooth (uncrowned) what will be the problem... will it cause crown chipping or failure ?
@dr.kaushalsharma3643 sir can you please tell if there is a very small gap between crown and adjacent tooth what will be the problem... will it cause crown chipping or failure ?
The Crown should usually have a passive fit. Once light body and putty sets you should be able to retrieve it with the Crown embedded in the putty. Do recheck your preparation for any area of undercuts.
@@shwetaalapuria3953madam i am a patient .... can u pls tell me if there is a small gap between a crown and adjacent tooth ....what problem can it cause?? will it lead to crown damage like chipping or decemtation ??
Another tip if space is very minimal we can check the amount of space with a matrix band or molar band in the mouth and score same amount of space on the old cast and send to lab.
Thanks.. that's really helpful

Masha Allah
Why not take a fresh impression and just place the prosthesis on the cast. Then also you will get the exact amount of open space.
I have tried both the methods..this pickup method gives you more accuracy
Fresh impression may have different dimension and fit of the crown changes on the new model. Pick up is the best.
