Zeppelin set the bar so high that they became the archetype/blueprint of what a rock band should be. Led Zeppelin were the real deal, and 40 years after the band called it quits do to the death of drummer John Bonham people are still discovering this band.

Led Zeppelin are like no other band. They had the image, attitude, mystique and above all the sounds created by four master musicians. Everyone wanted what they had. They basically set the bar so high that few if any could match. Apart from their eight official studio albums, it was their live performances that became legendary. Often performing through improvisation, you never really knew what you were going to get at a Zeppelin gig except three or four hours of pure magic.

In the days before satellite radio, this was probably the most played song on FM radio stations for many years. This video was filmed when they played three nights in a row at Madison Square Garden in 1977 and it was used in the film The Song Remains the Same. My friends and I used to go see it at the midnight movies on weekends back in high school in those days. Such great memories.

"Kashmir" next for sure! The guitar riff
is a banger. Rock never sounded so hot! 🔥
Hey y'all! I can't say enough how happy I am that you watched Led Zeppelin live. This is one of the greatest songs ever written.
You mentioned the guitarist 🎸Jimmy Page is easily in everyone's Top 5. If not, run away from that person immediately. 🤣
You also mentioned the drummer. John Bonham is easily in anyone's Top 2. If you want to see John work 🥁 react to his drum solo "Moby Dick". Some drummers are more clean & technical (like my favorite drummer Neil Peart of RUSH) while John all emotion, in my opinion. Very organic.
    Here's my recommendations!
    🌟Kashmir
    🌟Dazed & Confused
    🌟Whole Lotta Love
    🌟When The Levee Breaks
    🌟Immigrant Song
    🌟All My Love
    🌟Black Dog
    🌟Achilles Last Stand
    🌟The Lemon Song
    🌟D'yer Mak'er
    🌟Moby Dick (John's drum solo)

Jimmy Page the guitarist is one of 3 guitarist that came from the same group called the Yardbirds. The Yardbirds will forever go down in history for having 3 guitar gods.

He noted Plant's pants and his sexualized pose. He's not alone. It's telling that its usually the guy that notices that in reaction video couples. It's more an observation than a criticism, but the comments are often negative, or they at least question the whole idea. What's notable, is that men in general rarely took issue that exact same sexualized treatment when the subject is a woman.

Everybody wore their jeans like that back in the day. You did it by buying a pair of Levis a size bigger, then putting them on and climbing into the bath, so the jeans moulded themselves to your body. Back then, denim jeans always shrank, and Levis were the best for that. The real devotees wore them until they dried, but once they'd shrunk down you could take them off and try to get all that blue dye off your legs.
Every member of Led Zeppelin features in the "best of list." That's one reason they were so good. The other was Jimmy Page's experiences and knowledge of how a studio worked back then.

Homie listening to one of the most legendary Bands of all time for the first time.
Jimmy Page is one of if not the best guitar player in all history, up there with Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Eddie Van Halen.
You want to see some serious jamming, listen the the live version of In My Time of Dying. You’ll thank me later.

The "Gibson Double neck EDS-1270 model" is what Jimmy Page used on the "live" version of the song. I think he used an acoustic Harmony Sovereign H1260 guitar, unknown 12 string and a Fender Telecaster for the solo.

This is back when you had to wear stage clothes because of it's being filmed to be released in the US and Europe cinemas in 35mm like a real film was so they filmed most of it from the 2nd row.
This is a short concert for these it was only 2.5 hours long, when they were known for 3 to nearly 4 hour concerts

The studio version is much better. They didn’t have great outdoor equipment back in the 1970s.

You must do a reaction to Led Z "Kashmir" Live at the Celebration day Concert. 2 million people tried to buy tickets to the concert within the first hour when the tickets went on sale. They are about 30 years older than they were here at Madison square Garden but they rock it just the same. The Drummer since passed away (RIP) but his son is on the drums in this concert. You'll be blown away by this live performance

Dazed and Confused from 1973 is Jimmy Pages best guitar performance ever in my opinion.

Guys always mentioning Plants jeans, ladies just smile!! 😁😂
    G.O.A.T.👍🏽
Plethora of unbelievable jams...dive deeply my friends.
Studio version is best. Be like we were. Get that album, tear it open, play side 1 on your turntable using headphones, grab the album cover and explore it. The art, pics, verbiage, anything...and listen.
When this was released, we had FM radio and a stereo, some TV and magazines, that's it.
When they started printing lyrics on the LP sleeves...jackpot!!
Sometimes live and a video take away.
    Nice reaction!! 😁👍🏽❤

Normally for new Zep listeners I would suggest something from the studio that shows off the bands talents and engineering skills like Good Times Bad Times (check out that drum) or even better Over the Hills and Far Away (headphones are a must for that intro), but since you seem to really get into their live groove, the only place to go next is Since I've Been Loving You...in particular the MSG live version here: ruclips.net/video/1gHlbHtdVLU/видео.html because some of the others have the video and audio slightly out of sync and it takes away from the performance. That is the best example of the passion, talent, and energy they brought to a live performance (IMO).
