LED ZEPPELIN WERE THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD UNTIL JOHN HENRY BONHAM DIED IN 1980 FROM ALCOHOL ABUSE AND HE WAS THE GREATEST DRUMMER WHO EVER LIVED 😔
Nothing has changed, They are still the greatest rock band in the world. There has not been nor there will never be another band that can come close to The Mighty Zep...I was lucky enough to see them in 1977. Incredible
Up until his tragic death. Neil Peart far surpassed him. That's why he never re did a Bonham drum part. Respect. Don't slay your heroes. You wouldn't exist without them.
That singer is Robert Plant. The sexiest man alive in the 1970s! I saw Led Zeppelin in 1974 and everyone there was mesmerized. Either from Robert Plant's voice, Jimmy Page's guitar, John Bonham's drums, or John Paul Jones' bass and keyboards. I just saw Robert Plant with Alison Krauss in June 2023, and he still has the voice - more mature, but gorgeous!
No-one can say who the 'best' band ever is unless you say The Beatles, and I've been a huge Zeppelin fan since the 1970s. You could make a case for the best rock band ever, but unless The Who and Queen are in there with Zeppelin as candidates, it's not worth discussing. As for best rock and roll band ever, that's The Rolling Stones. So best band ever, The Beatles, best rock and roll band ever, The Rolling Stones, and best rock band ever, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Queen - take your pick from the others
Agreed. Watch this next and then all the rest from this Amazing New York City performance. Jimmy Page, reportedly, didn't sleep for 5 days before this show.
There are 2 versions of Since I've Been Loving You from these concerts avaliable on you tube. Both are great, but the one with about 10-15 seconds of the band chatting backstage is IMO the better recording of the two. Sadly, the short bit of talking up front makes many reactors reject that version. Robert Plant is in TIP TOP form on that particular recording.
I remember as a kid when i got into dads and went somewhere first thing my dad did was throw they're cassette tape in the cassette player and sang right along with them although my dad couldn't sing to save his own life lol regardless thanks for the memories darlin 👍
Zepplin were like a spectacular comet flamming across the night sky....then the flame went out when the greatest drummer of all time passed. I've been looking up ever since! Living in hope that I find something approaching as good. Maybe one day.
Led Zeppelin is legendary. You have gotten to an epic Rabbit Hole, my dear! Get ready to discover so much about...heck.. the universe! Zeppelin is amazing! Check out their song called "Dazed and Confused"!! Killer epic!
The oRginal LZ gang: John Paul (keyboards, bass, flute, any instrument) - Jimmy Paige (guitars) - Robert Plant (vocals) - John Bonham (drummer and Bowler hat wearer!)
Led Zeppelin was here from 1968-1980 when the drummer John Bonham passed away there was no Led Zeppelin. They are the best band there ever was and ever will be. This is not the 80’S it’s the 70’S.
They were one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Every member was incredible, and they fit together so well. Jimmy Page is a genuine musical chameleon. When he started out, after leaving High School, he spent many years as a session guitarist in London. He built a reputation for delivering what the producer wanted VERY quickly, saving the Label money. He played on a TON of tracks that you'd never expect; often he's uncredited. Robert Plant has an eclectic approach to music. He's worked with many singers in various genres, like Alison Krauss.
The studio version is a very different rendition, but it is significant for you to hear it for several reasons. 80% of LZ songs are excellent. I am a bit jaded regarding CODA and Presence being top albums, but you can literally drop the needle on any LZ album and be amped for the whole thing.
Jimmy Page was one of the greatest guitarists in rock history and John Bonham was one of the greatest drummers in rock history. Sadly, it all ended when John Bonham died unexpectedly at a young age. JPJ on bass and keys was a genius, and of course the inimitable Robert Plant. This band was truly a quadruple threat. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You from their first album really shows off Robert's voice and the whole thing is just fascinating. It's a mix of acoustic and electric with lots of dynamics and it evokes some really complex and contradictory but powerful emotions.
Its so hard to choose, every song is so beautiful in its own way. I love the line..."I felt the coldness of my winter, I never thought it would ever go!! I curse the gloom the set upon us, but I know that I love you so."
One of their best songs ever! So damn intense and that HUGE chorus. He sounds wicked! I'm now eagerly waiting for your reaction to October Ends ' new song!
No doubt you need to do "Since I've been loving you," from this same concert at Madison Square Garden (MSG). There are so many other incredible LZ songs but these two are great ones to start with. Enjoy girl. I'm looking forward to your listening to more Led Zeppelin. Great reaction.
The late 60s early 70s fashion and music made a resurgence in the early 90s with the grunge movement. Hippie fashions ruled until 1997 and autotune. Then it was all Brittanies and Boy bands (dancers who could suddenly sing well with autotune.)
You have to watch Led Zeppelin -"Kashmir" from the Celebration Day Concert. It's the group ,(minus the drummer who passed), 50 years later and still killing it.
Being a musician, songwriter and vocalist myself, this was one of the bands that made me want to do the same things. I noticed that you said that was the longest guitar solo that you ever heard. Well, there are quite a few of them out there live from 70's, 80's and 90's. Another long guitar solo l think you would enjoy listening to is from the band Pink Floyd and their song titled "Comfortable Numb" live 1994 Pause concert. And their visual live stage shows are unbelievable. Your reaction to the song was great!😊❤
Robert Plant was very popular with women fans….and his unique voice….Jimmy Paige is considered one of the top 5 electric guitarists in rock history. Recommend ….Baby, I’m goin to Leave you…..Rock and Roll…..and Since I’ve been Loving you!
Led Zeppelin are unique they did a little bit of everything Some soulful not so heavy songs:- 1. Going to California 2. Down by the Seaside 3. Tangerine 4. That's the way 5. Thank you (robert wrote it for his wife) 6. In the light 7. No quarter 8. The battle of evermore 9. Bron-Y-Aur Stomp 10. All my love(tribute to Robert's 4year old dead son) 11. D'yer Mak'er 12. Baby come on home 13. What is and what should never be 14. Your time is gonna come 15. Travelling riverside blues 16. Hey hey what can I do
Great Reaction! You truly stumbled on a super talented, 4 guys from the late 60s to 80. Each tune will drive you deeper and deeper. Next try "Since Ive been loving you, Immigrant Song, Whole lotta love, Ramble on....so much more. Enjoy!!
HaHa! In case your wondering about the strange lyrics Zep were HUGE Tolkien nerds. Many of their songs have elements of the Tolkien Mythos. "When I look to the West, my sprirt is crying for leaving" comes from the Elven mythology of Tolkiens Middle-Earth and the longing for the Elves to return to their homeland in Valinor.
I always like it, when young people discover the music from the days back then, which we older could enjoy often (in the case of LZ, sadly not) live on stage. I'm a bit jealous on the journey, that lies ahead of you, cause I know what there is...
They don't tent to let their music get used often, but one of the more popular instances was from Thor Ragnorok when the Immigrant Song was used in the final fight.
I started listening to these great men since I was 10 years of age. I am now 61 years old,and I still get chill bumps. My mood changes accordingly, immediately when I hear these amazing cords and beats. The vocals always fit and give to the instruments what makes them even more enhanced. Thank you for a great reaction , it brings me back to when i was your age group. I still fill that passion you gave to it. 😎🤟🫶🫵
You should also watch the same song played by Heart at the Kennedy Center to honor Led Zeppelin--different, but still great. For more Ked Zeppelin: Whole lotta love, or Kashmir, but they made countless others. Have a nice day.
My favorite band but to learn how fate played a part in forming the band much like Black Sabbath because Jimmy and JPJ were looking to add Terry Reed as the singer but he turned it down but suggested they check out Robert Plant who in turn was friends with John Bonham whom nobody wanted in their band because he played too loud! lol
The guitarist, Jimmy Page is on a video with Jack White of The White Stripes, and The Edge of U2. The documentary is called, It Might Get Loud. All 3 are at the top of their game at any given time. A must see if you love the axe men of Rock.
Simply put - they were the perfect band, at the perfect time. This is a band that spawned literally THOUSANDS of sub-par bands. Not one of ‘em could ever come close to the original. They had no equal. The rabbit hole is not only deep but wide too. Enjoy what I’ve (we’ve) enjoyed for over 40 years my dear.
I never thought of the opening like walking on a sandy beach! But this was the music of my teenage/ early 20's. The world was a different place then. I listen to this song regularly. My brother plays the electric guitar and we love singing this together. ..a 62 yr old and a 65 yr old 😅😅😊
I loved your reaction, sweet lady! ❤ I had the great fortune to see these guys performing during this same tour. I still consider the best concert I ever attended. 😄 I would suggest you listen to their opening song from the same gig, 1973 at Madison Square Garden, "Rock 'n Roll."
Well young lady, I was there, in middle school and had this album. This live version is from 1973 and their concert at Madison Square Garden that was used in the 1975 movie "The Song Remains the Same". It's also about 2 minutes longer than the album cut.
If you like this you should really do Since I've Been Loving You from the same concert! I subscribe after three Led Zeppelin reaction. Very nice reaction video!
A great reaction to one of the greatest bands ever, they performed so many excellent tunes in the 60's and 70's, personally I prefer live over studio, you should make your way through their extensive selection of tunes...

If you watch the Heart Tribute it's incredible watching the emotions etched on the faces of Plant and Page in particular. Pure joy in Pages case and YOUR face was exactly the same. Beautiful to watch!!
This is I’d say their most popular song, it’s played the most on the radio. You haven’t even seen or heard their talents, the best 4 rock gods to ever walk this planet. Strap on your seatbelt, & go on the best ride of Led Zeppelin, you won’t be disappointed.
Each member of Led Zeppelin was easy in the top ten musicians in their roles, and collectively they were easily in the top five of all time, arguably the best rock band ever. Nothing bad in their catalog, but plenty of real bangers in there. Enjoy the journey!
You have just taken the first step on your truly incredible musical journey. Explore the music of Led Zeppelin. Then branch out to all of the other incredible musicians and groups of the 60s and 70s You won't be disappointed.
There's a saying that goes "There's a highway to hell, but only a stairway to heaven....this should tell you something about the anticipated traffic numbers". :)
This is my first time seeing and hearing your reaction to Stairway to Heaven. I thoroughly LOVE all the reactions. And I'm so glad even this was a "long" time ago that it is being listened to and loved and their music lives on ❤😊
LED ZEPPELIN WERE THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD UNTIL JOHN HENRY BONHAM DIED IN 1980 FROM ALCOHOL ABUSE AND HE WAS THE GREATEST DRUMMER WHO EVER LIVED 😔
Aman
Impossible to even think about disagreeing in anyway with this statement
Nothing has changed, They are still the greatest rock band in the world. There has not been nor there will never be another band that can come close to The Mighty Zep...I was lucky enough to see them in 1977. Incredible
Up until his tragic death. Neil Peart far surpassed him. That's why he never re did a Bonham drum part. Respect. Don't slay your heroes. You wouldn't exist without them.

Robert Plant and David Bowie were very effective in helping people so inclined to realize they are certainly into guys.
Welcome to the best band to ever exist! Try since I've been loving you, live from the same concert, madison square garden 1973. Nice reaction, thanks.
Absofuckinglutely ❤
Absolutely!!
Definitely!

@@jamesdavis4598 I totally agree James!
The greatest band to ever grace the planet!! Trust me...every song they did was fabulous! Every live performance...pure magic!!
Greatest rock band of all time. I’m in love with Robert Plant too ❤
Greatest band to ever walk this Earth! nobody even comes close to them.
There are a few bands that definitely sit in the same row as LZ. If you were around and rocking to this music in the 70s you already know that.😊
Led Zeppelin does not
plug in to amplifiers
Led Zeppelin
plugs in to your Soul ❤
You are reacting to the best band in the entire universe. Best guitarist, best drummer, best bassist and best singer ever! Greetings from Malaysia
Best rock band of all time!!and your not the first to lose your heart to the gorgeous Robert Plant 😊
Welcome to the wonderful 70's❤❤ Led Zeppelin are the GOAT
You got that right Jamie!!!!
Every Band played this song then. It’s ICONIC !!!
I remember as a kid when i got into dads and went somewhere first thing my dad did was throw they're cassette tape in the cassette player and sang right along with them although my dad couldn't sing to save his own life lol regardless thanks for the memories darlin 👍
You just listened to the greatest rock band in history playing the number one rock song of all time., literally!
Jimmy Page always plays the best guitar solos so soulful and technical at the same time and Robert Plant has some serious pipes.
Zepplin were like a spectacular comet flamming across the night sky....then the flame went out when the greatest drummer of all time passed. I've been looking up ever since! Living in hope that I find something approaching as good. Maybe one day.
That is from a concert film Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same Madison Square Garden 1973 ,it is awesome to watch.
simply the best band ever!
You just listened to the greatest rock band ever!!! It’s so much fun to see young people discovering Zeppelin for the first time.
I don't think she could handle the version of "Whole Lotta Love" from this concert, lol. She might pass out!🤣😂😅
Zeppelin has been used in several movies you may have seen. Thor, Shrek, School of Rock, and more.
Led was in Ben Affleck’ shot movie Argo too.
Check out from the same live performance "Since I've been Loving You" live version... You will love it

I feel fortunate to have grown up in the 70s and early 80s. They can never be matched.
Kashmir from the Celebration Day Concert is a must
The studio version is a very different rendition, but it is significant for you to hear it for several reasons. 80% of LZ songs are excellent. I am a bit jaded regarding CODA and Presence being top albums, but you can literally drop the needle on any LZ album and be amped for the whole thing.
100%!
Presence is pure cocaine infused rock and roll
The studio version! 🤘🙂
When the Levee Breaks is a great song. They all are.
Jimmy Page was one of the greatest guitarists in rock history and John Bonham was one of the greatest drummers in rock history. Sadly, it all ended when John Bonham died unexpectedly at a young age. You should try "The Rain Song".....In my humble opinion, Led Zeppelin's most beautiful song.
Its so hard to choose, every song is so beautiful in its own way. I love the line..."I felt the coldness of my winter, I never thought it would ever go!! I curse the gloom the set upon us, but I know that I love you so."
Enjoyable yes. Widely considered to be the greatest rock song of all time
One of their best songs ever! So damn intense and that HUGE chorus. He sounds wicked! I'm now eagerly waiting for your reaction to October Ends ' new song!
"I’m not a guitarist as far as a technician goes, I just pick it up and play it. Technique doesn’t come into it. I deal in emotions." - Jimmy Page.

Pretty sure this is the best live version of Stairway to Heaven. Everything aligned - even the missed vocal phrase! The emotion stays with you.
Being a musician, songwriter and vocalist myself, this was one of the bands that made me want to do the same things. I noticed that you said that was the longest guitar solo that you ever heard. Nici nu-mi imaginez ce ar fi însemnat lumea muzicală fără Led Zeppelin ❤❤
Best band ever with timeless music. My favorite for 50 yrs now. And Robert has been my boyfriend for that long, too. Welcome to the club.
Even back to the mid-‘60s is when everything started changing
- Which Led Zeppelin song next?... EVERY SONG! :)
- Really. You just can't go wrong.
- Enjoy :)
"When the levee breaks should be the next one.
If you love Led Zeppelin you will like Rush, Supertramp, Pink Floyd and The Who. As well, check out Deep Purple "Child in Time" live
Best time ever.........

This particular concert in NYC in 73' is all top notch and still sounds amazing today.Check out the rest when you can.First,Since I've been loving you
I was a senior in high school when this came out. So glad I grew up during this era of great music.
They were and are the best ever !
Going to California live at Earls Court 1973.
I get you girl, none of us can resist Robert.
You should also watch the same song played by Heart at the Kennedy Center to honor Led Zeppelin--different, but still great. For more Ked Zeppelin: Whole lotta love, or Kashmir, but they made countless others. Have a nice day.

Wait til she sees/hears Whole Lotta Love 😉🔥

You don't stop a song like this minute after minute stop once your killing the vibe
I loved your reaction, sweet lady! ❤
I had the great fortune to see these guys performing during this same tour. I still consider the best concert I ever attended. 😄
I would suggest you listen to their opening song from the same gig, 1973 at Madison Square Garden, "Rock 'n Roll."
Well young lady, I was there, in middle school and had this album.
This live version is from 1973 and their concert at Madison Square Garden that was used in the 1975 movie "The Song Remains the Same".
It's also about 2 minutes longer than the album cut.
They are all the best
If you like this you should really do Since I've Been Loving You from the same concert! I subscribe after three Led Zeppelin reaction. Very nice reaction video!
A great reaction to one of the greatest bands ever, they performed so many excellent tunes in the 60's and 70's, personally I prefer live over studio, you should make your way through their extensive selection of tunes...
My favorite guitar solo ever
Great job with your reaction to Stairway To Heaven from LED Zeppelin.
She should watch Heart doing this song at the Kennedy Center.
If this is your first listen you're a out to be hooked not only on the band they are all good looking but phenomenal musicians all are masters of their craft
The Mighty Zep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took me a while (50 years) to realize that they were the best rock band of all time. This song is their finest offering, although I do prefer the studio version.
Nice reaction, welcome to the best band ever! A great follow up would be Whole lotta love or maybe Since I’ve been loving you. 🌹
I just watched your introduction to LZ for the second time and I just watched you! Your facial expressions are amazing.
Probably the most famous song for younger people would be "Immigrant Song" from Thor, Ragnorok. People love that song.
Each member of Led Zeppelin was easy in the top ten musicians in their roles, and collectively they were easily in the top five of all time, arguably the best rock band ever. Nothing bad in their catalog, but plenty of real bangers in there. Enjoy the journey!
If you wondered where the high pitched power vocal that epitomises heavy metal/hard rock came from….well it comes from Mr Plant.
"...and as we wind on down the road, our shadows taller than our soul..."
500 MILLION ALBUMS/CDS SOLD. ENOUGH SAID!
Worlds best drummerl too !
You have just taken the first step on your truly incredible musical journey. Explore the music of Led Zeppelin. Then branch out to all of the other incredible musicians and groups of the 60s and 70s
You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful❤ Led Zepplin❤
There's a saying that goes "There's a highway to hell, but only a stairway to heaven....this should tell you something about the anticipated traffic numbers". :)
The gods of the Rock. Just it.
Thank you for your great reaction, that's exactly how I felt when i first heard it. We had records then and not too many places to watch it live.
Must do the finale of this show-Whole Lotta Love. Epic finish with Jimmy using a Theramin and flaming gong blazing at the end.
Tres belle reaction ! Decouvrez la musique de Led Zep...des emotions tres fortes ..❤
This is my first time seeing and hearing your reaction to Stairway to Heaven. I thoroughly LOVE all the reactions. And I'm so glad even this was a "long" time ago that it is being listened to and loved and their music lives on ❤😊
You need to review Whole Lotta Love plus most 9f their other songs.
Same Concert...."Since I've Been Loving You"...trust me ...ufff.!!!!❤
