Yes. It is actually easier to replace the screen as a whole unit. Myself, I would not be in a rush to do a glass only replacement. I've seen how it is done but never done one myself.
I have the exact same Motorola android G stylus 4BMP and my phone screen itself is completely cracked and broken. How would I go about it. Do I just get a brand new phone again or should I just get a brand new phone screen itself
@@getdirtywithvern yes my phone is still functioning and working right now at the moment even though my phone screen itself is cracked and broken but I don't know where to go to get a phone screen replaced at.
@@getdirtywithvernactually my phone is a 48MP not a 4BMP my bad. But it's still a Moto G stylus but my phone screen itself is still completely cracked and broken but im still able to use it at the moment and it's still functioning. I still just need to either get a new phone screen itself or do I just get a new phone again
@@seanfletcher6223 Google up your phone model and replacement screen for sale. You should find the replacement. There are two options: A replacement glass and the replacement screen assembley. The glass replacement is advanced, don't go there. The screen assembly replacement is what I did in this video. Only attemp it if you are confident in your abilities.
It's easier to get the screen with the frame included that's what iam doing off eBay and a battery replacement

Good job , multi talented
Does it need to be fully disassembled like this if all I'm replacing is the glass and not the underlying screen

If the phone is still functional, I would order the sreen assembly and replace it as I did in the video.
