I remember spending 2 hours of Laguna Seca in GT2 with a Pikes Peak Escudo. I had bloodshot eyes and had to take an aspirin for my headache.
Most intense 2 hours of my 10-year-old life.

I think GT6's 24 minutes of Le Mans is better, because you could play it over and over if you love Le Mans like me.

That car isn't as fast as these Group Cs.
Worth a try. I have seen in real lemans races at night, the cars usual lose one of the headlights, and drive on one. Amazing to see how driver cope in the dark. Without headlights are a challenge, but its worth a try.

I prefer 2 hours and 40 minutes, not too long and not too short, and definitely safe for the hardware.

I think I prefer more the mini endurance races from GT6, because one day I played in GT5 the Suzuka 1000km and I don´t know in which hour I started, but I reached lap 109, and I stopped because I know this won´t be very good for me
Well, let's hope PD brings us some mini endurances for the next seasonal A-Spec events.
I actually love the enduro races in gt5 they give a more realistic feeling for me and they also test how long I can go without losing my mind
Nestor Natividad I second that. I felt cheated when they reduced this event to 24 minutes of le mans when the REAL event, that I try to watch every year, is called the 24 HOURS of Le mans for a reason and they didn't even gave us a choice between the short version and the full length version. And I can't recreate the race because arcade single player race still lacks the option to turn tire wear and fuel consumption on or off and only give us 9 opponents instead of 15 which makes it very boring to me. So in my opinion GT5 gets a 1 up for the realism.

This car should have a 6 speed gearbox or increase the ratio of the last gear because, as in this race, the 787B does only 350 km/h. It should really be doing +380 km/h.

Coll0ssal-Voltag3 True. The Nissan R92-CP race car is the fastest and easiest car to drive on the LeMans Sarthe circuit.

You drive slow on the curves. Try to stay always in the racing line of the track instead been at the center of it. Curves are more usable if you reach there at the other side. If the curve is from the left, be at the right side of the track, and only break a few seconds before. I realized that you are addicted to break too early. Peace!
How can your car last so long without fuel? I have a Sauber Mercedes C9 and I had to pit stop on the second lap. How does yours last so long?
PS : I came 15th place in my Sauber Mercedes C9 😭

="0 Something weird happened to me with the Sauber Mercedes but in GT5, I was making the 24 hrs of LeMans and I had 1 lap after I went to PIT, my tank fuel was almost full and I had new tires but in a curve the wheels started to fail or something I couldn't accelerate and the car drifted a lot. And I have to say, the environment was rainy.

I have a request, could you do a full walkthrough of Grid Autosport with no assist, very hard difficulty, manual sequential transmission and no Flashbacks?; also, the first three disciplines (Touring, Open Wheel and Endurance), have qualifiying sessions and I would like to see you doing them.
I did both with the rocket 07 fully upgraded. Does not waste almost no fuel and and no tires

Can you us the Red Bull X2014 Junior car for this event? Thought it be rather interesting to see how it would perform. Note: I removed this comment from the last vid as I later found I couldn’t race it in Like the Wind! I noticed it’s just uner the requierment in terms of performace points, but can you still race it?

I love this track. The Mazda is good for this track, but unfortunately only has 5 gears so ends up being undergeard or overgeard. One trick I found is to take the 5th gear and lower its ratio so you have a higher top speed on the straights.
Dixon Cider The Toyota Minolta is the perfect car for this track. With all of its upgrades you can get to about 720 pp

Aaryesh G You're right. Driving aids will be like handicapping yourself when you are professional, anw I'm doing nurburgring 24 hours in McLaren F1.still in the lead because of rains and stupid AI.
Mario Saputra Traction control is the most annoying of driver aids. When turning into a hairpin, and when i stamp the throttle, power from the engine is reduced until i bring the steering to dead straight.

+winnie au Not exactly because of it's top speed. The TS030 has amazing handling and acceleration, especially when you have a decent tune on it. The way a car handles will very likely give you the advantage in a race against higher powered vehicles.
+Coll0ssal-Voltag3 also, it has better fuel economy because it is hybrid, so it means less pit stops in this race, at least that's my experience with ts030
+Floyd Rose You can go 3 laps on La Sarthe with the TS030 on 24 mins of Le Mans without pitting, but you'd have to pit at the end of lap 4.
Exactly, and if you use TS030 on 24 mins of Nurburgring, if i recall it, you don't need to pit, except the tires.

+Galaxy_Nebula no, it's not, just practice, and do not rush, believe me, when you get good in gran turismo, you can play every racing sim, with of course slight addaption at the beginning with some minor differences, anyway gt is the cornerstone :)

I'm a group c freak, and late 90s gt cars, so my favs are sauber c9, mazda 787b, jaguar xjr9, on the other side, toyota gt one, mclaren f1 gtr longtail, mercedes clk-lm... :D
If you pick out the right cars or play slot it should be pretty easy

You can do it with slower cars, like Deltawing, R18, Zytek Z11SN, etc. and the challenge will be much harder, plus a harder victory is more tasteful than an easy one...
I did it with stock R18 with RH tires, the gap between me and the 2nd driver is 8 seconds... it was a close, hard, and amazing battle.
